Oasis chinese restaurant located on the Muroor road opposite to Etihad press in Abu Dhabi has a typical chinese feel with fish aquarium, Chinese figurines, chinese red lanterns and a cozy atmosphere to spend an evening with family and friends. The red colour interior is prominent in reflecting the true chinese ambience. They have enormous variety of chinese food items to offer starting from hot soups, appetizers, sizzlers, variety rice and curries. The wanton soup and manchow soup are what we liked. The spring rolls and shanghai rolls are tasty. Chicken sizzler coated with sweet and sour dry sauce is mouth watering. Shanghai fried rice with black mushrooms and brocoli is good for a change accompanied by fresh cut vegetables in schezwan sauce. Manchurian balls in dry schezwan sauce are lipsmacking. American Chopsuey is my favourite. Lime and mint mojito is a good refresher. Hot sizzling brownie and fried ice cream is the best way to conclude your visit to Oasis. I frequently order-in from Oasis. They have a very wide selection of dishes. Some taste really good, some others were just not my taste. You get large quantities of food for a very reasonable price. I normally order wonton soup or beef oyster. With chicken fried dumplings on the side. And regularly I order prawn crackers with it too. The beef oyster doesn't come with rice, so ordering rice with it is recommended. The food is shared among 2 people, normally with 1 more main item for the 2nd person. We always have some leftovers that we eat for lunch the next day.

The delivery is always fast. And the drivers from the restaurant know the locations very well. We never have any issues that the driver is late or that the food is cold.

I have also been a couple of times to the restaurant. The restaurant looks a bit old and from the outside a bit sketchy. The inside is quite dark. So don't expect any fancy restaurant decor. But the staff always has been friendly and helpful. It was one of those restaurants you want to go to, when you don't feel like cooking, but also don't want to dress up for a restaurant and dine-in for a long time in a restaurant.
