Shrimp Pot Seafood Restaurant Main branch - Al Nahyan | UAE — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

I have scheduled an order at 5pm to be delivered at Iftar (6:45) I selected from the options on Talabat to add an additional sauce and requested the sauce to be on the side. At 6pm I received a call from shrimp pot staff called Cherries, first of all she was speaking in a very high tune and unprofessional way to tell me that they can’t accommodate my request, I was initially shocked by how rude she was talking to me I explained that this is an add on option on talabat which I have paid for, she responded in a very disrespectful way saying no no we will not accept your request and shouted calling her Manager ( Jessie) who did nothing but made the situation worse and unexpectedly speaking in a very loud high tuned voice with an unacceptable attitude as if this was their induction on how to provide customer service which I am very sure it is not. I am sure the owner would never accept this.

Aside from their attitude, I told them don’t worry about the additional sauce you can cancel it but send me the order as by this time it was 6:30 pm and I was running out of time to even cancel the order from shrimp pot and place a new one, only to fine after 10 mins of waiting that talabt is calling me to tell me that the restaurant has canceled my order!! I don’t even understand how this could happen but I asked talabt representative to re confirm to the restaurant that I don’t need the additional sauce but I need my order for Iftar so please send it, he came back saying that the restaurant is resisting to prepare my order and they have canceled it specifically for me and will not even send a new order!! I am writing this review for one reason only, is that the owner will hopefully see it and understand the level of customer service his staff and restaurant manager is providing, I am sure everything I have said can be retrieved through talabat chat or restaurant call center. Hopefully Shrimp Pot will investigate this further. I will never order or visit this restaurant but honestly this is by far the worst experience I have...

The worst seafood place I've ever been, the service is 0, the lights is very bright that it gives headache, when we asked the manager jaiho to dime it in our area he refused , maika was our improfessional waitress , the order was wrong and she didn't even apologise , and the African girl came to bring what was missing not even her , after that we asked to change the side sauce that comes with the shrimp because it was too spicy she said we can't change it you have to pay extra 5aed , I felt like I was talking to a bank machine charging me for every small thing, there was no customer service , and they kept talking between them in front of us in their language (phillipino ) very disrespectful and improfessional, we felt so uncomfortable , they were laughing and not caring about anything except the African staff they kept checking on us and apologising ,the supervisor didn't even come to check on us or ask us what was the problem , I think the management should change the staff and hire more professional ones , or probably they dont care because you can see from the comments below their answers to the unhappy guests . Shrimp pot is one of the high quality & tasty seafood you have It delivers some exceptional seafood with some great taste

Yesterday i thought to try new items of the menu First the shrimp Cesar salad WoooOOOOoooooW What is this ?! What is this taste ?! So good really I enjoyed it till the very last piece of it Secondly I tried mini lobster sandwich , it’s unbelievable. So finger licking good I really enjoyed it a lot !!! I would definitely recommend it along side the Cesar salad

Last item was the paella I really was looking forward to trying it, however unfortunately it wasn’t that good I mean it is good but not as I expected I was really sad , it’s not the same level as other items Not as good as the sandwich , the salad , & the pots I definitely don’t recommend it here If you want to try paella I don’t think this is the best place to taste it I don’t say it’s bad , on the contrary it’s good, but not as expected Sometimes you expect some level of goodness from some restaurants!!!
