Tea Break Cafe — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

I had a really disappointing experience at Tea Break Cafeteria due to one of their servers. We were having a casual meal, enjoying our food, when we were told by a Nepali staff member to stop eating our shawarma, which we had brought from outside. My friend politely explained that we wouldn’t do it again, but the server kept insisting in the most rude and condescending manner that we literally stop eating.

I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I asked him why he was being so rude and told him it was unreasonable to tell a paying customer to stop eating their food. His response? Calling us "stupid." How unprofessional and disrespectful!

If there's an issue with outside food, the proper way to handle it is by escalating it to the manager, not by treating customers like that. I really felt disrespected, and honestly, I’m sure I’m not coming back to this branch again ever! We’ve been a loyal customer at this restaurant from 2016, but my recent experience was deeply disappointing. The supervisor of this branch displayed an incredibly unprofessional and rude attitude, insisting we leave due to a new policy stating customers cannot stay longer than 10 minutes for a minimum order so they can run a good business (Pullshit). This policy was not communicated beforehand, nor wasn't handled with any courtesy and respect to us.
