My visit to Mazaj Bab Al-Bahar restaurant was an exceptional experience by all standards. The venue boasts a stunning view of the sea, adding a serene and relaxing ambiance to the atmosphere. Last month, I visited Mazaj Bab Al Bahr twice, and both times were amazing. Mazaj offers an unforgettable dining experience with a menu that highlights the best of Middle Eastern cuisine.

The mezzeh is a highlight, with each dish full of flavor and beautifully presented. Whether it's the creamy hummus, tangy tabbouleh, or savory baba ghanoush, every bite is delightful.

The Kebbeh Nieyh is another standout, perfectly seasoned and prepared. The Turkish specialties like Mante, Alinazik, and Baiti kabab are also fantastic.

The Mashawi are equally impressive, with tender, juicy, and flavorful meat.

Chef Mahdi and Chef Rami are attentive and responsive to special orders, adding to the great experience.

The waiting staff are super helpful and provide excellent service, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Fortunately, I have the opportunity to write this review with having spent significant time at Mazaj (meaning “Cave” or “Mood”).

The place is splendidly operated by competent and capable management.

You feel at home. To the point that I have been delighted to have the same wonderful ladies greet me at the entrance and walk me to my table. They go so far as to bring you the same staff, who have handled your requests/ meals on repeated occasions.

For example, Mohammed Mustafa Achmed who has handled my requests on meals has attended to any concern of mine. If my ice bucket is too far from my reach - he will hurry to assist any challenge or concern you may have.

It is a delight to call this location a home away from home.
