Bol Gappa — Restaurant in Dubai

I really like the theme of the restaurant .. Bol Gappa means Bollywood Gossip.. The theme from walls to the uniform of the staff to the name of the dish everything is Bollywood based...Its a place you must visit.. Although its a long drive but its worth it.. And if you are a Bollywood fan why don't you dress up as your favorite Bollywood celebrity and visit ;)

Mexican bhel- A regular bhel puri with a superb mexican twist.. you will love very bite of it Amar Akbar Anthony cheese baguette - toasted bread topped with cheese and bell pepper Yo Yo Honey singh chili mushroom - Stir fried mushrooms served in a noodle bowl.. It was really good Chicken Khurana - One of their signatures .. A must try.. It is Fried chicken tossed with spices and and they add curry leaves for flavor Butter chicken - A must order from any Indian restaurant and if you go wrong with butter chicken it means there is something wrong with the restaurant but then they out-shined it.. Peri Peri pizza - Im not a fan of Indianized Pizza but it was good Bhaji pao mastani - Dish made from mashed mix vegetables and is served with Pao (Bread) ... one of the best Indian classics Chak de mutton - More or less like Bhuna Gosht Citrus sparkle - Mixture of citrus fruits - Refreshing Jalapeño watermelon Fresca - It was really good... a mix of sweet watermelon with a pinch or spicy Jalapeño Pomegranate mojito - It was really good Raspberry lemonade fizz- I like how they tried something new with Lemonade... You must try it Chowpatty kulfi - Inhouse Prepared Kulfi served with vermicelli Gulab jamun - Soft tender and warm.. Carrot halwa spring rolls -Best from the lot.. basically Gajar ka Halwa spring rolls.. served with Vanilla Ice Cream - A must try. Walnut brownie - Soft tender and well moist walnut flavored brownie served with Vanilla iceceam and hot fudge on a Hot Plate..

Overall - It is a very good restaurant to visit...if you want to go on a long drive .. and grab a bite do visit...

Delicious food and different Indian Recipes. Excellent work by Staff of BOL GAPPA. If you want to visit all four park than don't worry about food because BOL GAPPA is located near BOLLYWOOD PARK. We had visited three days during PARK VISIT. Impressive menu, interior and delicious Indian food . We visited this restaurant last week after visit to Dubai parks. We dined on our way back around 10pm which was only half an hour before their closing time. I was worried they’ll rush the food, I was wrong. They booked food with a lot of passion. Staff were really welcoming and I cannot thank them enough for looking after us so well. Huge choice of food for vegan and vegetarians. Every single dish had its own flavour. When the bill arrived I was pleasantly shocked how reasonable the prices were. Ignore any negative reviews. Try this restaurant without any hesitation. We visited Bol Gappa a few times in April 2024 whilst we stayed at the Lapita Resort. It was nice to find an Indian with good food but the only negative was the amount of salt that was being used.

I went with the Chilli Mushrooms which stole the show. As a non-halal consumer, I went for the King Prawn dish which was tasty and they had catered to my strength in chilli. I ended with a spicy Mango lassi to top it all off and the tandoori rotis and naans were cooked to perfection.

I’ve given it 3 stars because when we first went, we were the only customers in there. However, we went on another night where they had only another 3 tables in and we waited over 5 mins in the doorway to be taken to a table. What could possibly have been the manager, was sat on our right hand side on his laptop and didn’t bother once to welcome us. He welcomed us on our other visits when they were quiet but left all the work to...
