Hikina — Restaurant in Dubai

When we arrived, there was nobody at the entrance to welcome us or show us to a table.

Service was very slow — it took a long time for anyone to come take our order, and when they did, the staff seemed rushed and unprofessional.

The food quality was poor. I ordered Pad Thai and Chicken Sweet & Sour. The Sweet & Sour was extremely spicy, not sweet and sour at all, and tasted bad.

The most serious issue was with the Pad Thai. I have a severe peanut allergy. The menu did not mention peanuts, and nobody asked me about allergies. The dish came topped with peanuts, which is extremely dangerous. When I pointed this out, the response was just “sorry.” The chef also apologized, but this is not acceptable when it could put someone’s life at risk.

They removed the Pad Thai from the bill but still charged for the Sweet & Sour, which was not good at all.

Absolutely amazing! This restaurant deserves every single one of its 5 stars. The food was simply outstanding, with every dish expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. From the appetizers to the desserts, every bite was a delight. The service was also top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel right at home, thanks to Mr Flint and most especially Ms Eureka for the great service. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations that really enhanced our dining experience. And the place itself was beautiful and stylish, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel relaxed and comfortable. The service was commendable; the entire team was attentive and friendly special mention to Bea, Puto, Thansir and Chef Jose , ensuring that we felt well cared for throughout our evening.
