Read moreWe paid a lot of money for 6 tickets, food, drinks and taxi to visit to Dubai parks Motion Gate and Real Madrid. We got in a buggy after finishing at Motion Gates to go to Real Madrid. As I was coming out of buggy due to a large screw loose in the buggy I cut my knee badly. We reported to Guest Services, medic advised I should get tetanus due to my diabetes and hypertension when we go back home and not get in water. I was unable to walk so my family decided to leave the park. We asked for refund but staff on the desk were very unhelpful and showed no sympathy as I could not even walk. They did not even offer a bottle of water. We asked for manager, when he turned up he was unbelievably RUDE and started shouting at my family and threatened to call police on us! His name was Mjid. No apology from him or his team at any point. He started saying we’ll sack the buggy company. That was not our concern as customers we paid for parks and we had to leave due to punctured wound and bleeding in my leg. We asked to speak to upper management he refused to call his manager and said no one will come to talk to us. In the end higher manager did come we were asked to fill a report and we left. No refund has been offered. We will be escalating this to Dubai Tourism. This place is to be avoided, H&S is poor! Management are worst ever! We’ve been to Dubai parks 5 times previously it’s gone Downhill! OVERPRICED and OVERHYPED Rest of my vacation is ruined because of Dubai park’s incompetence. I cannot go in water with my knee being hurt due to no fault of mine. Staff have No respect or responsibility for customers welfare AVOID AVOID - This place has gone downhill!
Very bad customer service. This horrible man Majd kept shouting at my family! That’s definitely not how I’ve known Dubai for the past 20 years that we’ve visited. Dubai Parks are rubbing Dubai’s name in dirt by treating international guests with...
Read moreWe recently visited Motiongate Dubai as a family of five, having previously experienced several theme parks across the UAE and abroad, including Yas Island. Unfortunately, Motiongate fell far short in comparison—especially in guest service, logistics, and overall experience.
One major concern was the lack of proper transportation between parks. After starting at LEGOLAND around midday, we were advised by staff to shift to Motiongate due to shaded areas. However, when we tried to take the park buggy, we were told it was only for VIP hotel guests—even though we held valid tickets. No assistance was offered, forcing us and another family to walk over 15 minutes in extreme heat with children and elderly parents. Later, we were informed of a limited one-way “taxi” service, but that too was poorly managed.
The situation worsened when we exited Motiongate around 5:30 p.m. hoping for basic support to return. Instead, we were approached by buggy drivers demanding AED 15 per person to be dropped at the main gate. When we questioned this, the response was blunt and unhelpful, even from the guest relations desk. It felt more like a revenue trap than a hospitality experience.
By contrast, Yas Parks offer consistent, courteous, and guest-focused service regardless of ticket type. Motiongate, despite comparable pricing, lacks the basic infrastructure and attitude to make families feel welcomed or cared for.
We hope Dubai Parks revisits its policies and prioritizes guest comfort over monetizing every step. A small improvement in transport support and staff behavior would make a...
