Farouj Al Abdalla I فروج العبدالله — Restaurant in Dubai

I wanted to post 5 stars for the taste but the price and portions are not worth it. Slow preparation time Over priced compared to other restaurants which are offering lower price and bigger portion, this shows how wrongly priced new restaurants are becoming.

AED 95 for full charcoal grilled chicken and it comes only with bread and pickles???

I hope they realize how proper pricing is very important to any kind of business, you do not have to Offset the opening cost from customers in 6 months! taste was ok as the chicken meat quantity also was very less and the sandwich bread is folded on one side to make it look filled while it is half bread! at least put decent amount of chicken inside the sandwich if you are going to charge 30 for the large sandwich, but will not return as it is way over priced. it should not exceed 23 AED for large and 18 for small sandwich. the full chicken price is around 20 in the hypermarket and for wholesale such as restaurants it will be way less so their pricing is not logical.

one more note, I saw one gentleman (owner or manager not sure) was treating the staff in a very very degrading manner which is not healthy to the staff behavior with customers. specially we all know the salaries for people who work at restaurants are very less.

with all my respect to the management and owners, you guys need to read all the negative reviews before the positive ones and try to save your business.

soft opening reviews are more important than any future review.

I wanted to share my excellent feedback & for the amazing dinner I had in (Farooj Al Abdalla فروج العبدالله Dubai - located in Hessa street next to Mall of the Emirates).

The restaurant Manager name is (Chef Khalid) and his amazing cooking gave me delicious shawarma sandwiches and shish tawook, the kitchen in the restaurant is open and you can see how they are preparing your food on the spot , very very fresh tender chickens with a special sauce and very clean pickles done in the restaurant,the whole experience is amazing and wonderful because the food is very clean and delicious in the same time , additionally the cooking team is very kind and they do whatever you want in your sandwiches.

The prices is perfect and so cheap comparing to other places , the other places very expensive and very bad quality with a lot of oils and unnecessary ingredients. Please please go and try this wonderful place and you will know what I mean.the location perfect and you can just park your car and enjoy eating.

Thanks a lot to Chef Khaled , me and my son really enjoyed the best food ever of shawarma and it’s my spot now for the shawarma sandwiches. Regards, Madam Reham...

Truth be told, my experience wasn't good... Not recommended. This's not only a crticsim, I'm just saying facts about this place to anyone who's going to try it.

First: "It's Overpriced" I paid for myself 53 Dirhams (31 - Large chicken sandwich) (15 - making it COMBO "fries+coleslaw+garlic paste") (7 - Soft drink)

Be aware! Combo doesn't include drink! imagine that!! I was shocked when i paid my bill for extra 7 Dhs!?? If I'm paying 15 dhs for combo then i should have a soft drink just like any other restaurant in Dubai and in the world!

Sandwich size wasn't LARGE as they say, i would say the size is just normal (Lebanese bread) the chicken portion was not as expected to be.. I can say the taste was good, but it was just not big enough for a normal mid age guy..

Fries, loaaads of fries... The oil used for cooking was over used, taste wasn't good at all.. i didn't like my fries, but i had to eat them as i don't want to...
