Unwind Speciality Boardgame Cafe - Hessa — Restaurant in Dubai

Last weekend we tried a place that was a refreshing change , it brought out the child in us.

@unwinddubai speciality board game café is the newest trending concept in town. You along with your tribe can head here & spend hours playing over 800+ games that they have. They also have talented & friendly game masters who are delighted help you discover some new games you might have never heard of before.

Because of our lovely game master CeCee we learnt so many new games & went gaga playing these.

But then it wasn’t just about the games, while you play you can also enjoy a spread of affordably priced food & beverages.

Some of our favourites were their range of delicious cheesy garlic bread, incredible Sandwiches, Green healthy salads, their scrumptious mains – the pesto pasta was a clear winner & their blended smoothies & cold coffees. But last but not the least are their mouth-watering delectable desserts, you can just have their desserts & coffees and be satiated.

We absolutely loved our experience & time here while we went back to becoming kids again & will come back for more #gamenights soon.

Who would have thought that this little gem in Hessa can be the perfect venue for a baby shower?

I was looking for a nice cozy place to celebrate a baby shower for a baby boy with a Blue-ish and “Boy” kinda ambiance when i saw Unwind Café. 👶🏻

So as you can see on the images, we surely had a blast. We used the area on the second level and able to put some decorations and play baby shower games. Our guests played a couple of board games too which was a total hit!

Games - they have a wide range of board games available there. Also Ramin, their Game master helped us choose some games that we can do for big groups. The “Game Masters” are basically there to assist you find a nice game or explain any board game available. Ambiance - cozy, clean and able to accommodate 35 people even more for our baby shower. Food - Fantastic, our guests were mix nationalities. (Arabic, Iraninan, Filipino & Lebanese etc.) but everyone found something on the menu that they liked. I loved that they were able to make a special blue drink. Staff - all the staff were so helpful for our needs and gladly accommodated some of our requests for the baby shower set-up and decor. Location - conveniently located in Hessa with plenty of parking available for free.

Overall, this Café is a nice place to hangout with your family and friends where you can actually talk and play board games instead of doing the usual online games. I definitely recommend them to...

My honest review is that I’m very disappointed. I was very hungry therefor I came to this place to have lunch. The man waiter comes with a very slow pace and bored attitude to indicate me to scan the menu which I did and since I was hungry I had chosen right away but the waiter was gone and now playing on his phone on the other end of the counter. I was trying to wave but nothing was happening but a girl from the bar saw me and she passed by my waiter who was on the phone, told him something and she came to take my order but actually told me he is the guy I have to talk to if I want any extras with my food… but my waiter was busy still on his phone.. I told her that he is busy and she kept telling me she can’t do anything as he is the one I have to talk to but not for one second she would go and call him.
