I actually came with my Indonesian friends. At first I was amazed by the design of the restaurant. It was nicely done. But the experience ruined it all. We all had to wait for 1 hour+ for the food to come and the restaurant was not busy at all. There were only 2 other tables. We all ordered different dishes. A lot of the menu were not available when we ordered but the worst part is that the waitress told us that the Oxtail was not available after 1 hour waiting without even apologizing. My “soto betawi” was horrible. The beef that they served was all but the meat part. Literally nothing I could chew. I told the waiter that it was so hard and he did not even acknowledge. He just left without saying anything or giving any resolution. I ended up only eating only the rice, the soup and the tomato in the soup. My friend’s “coto makasar” had the same issue - beef was too hard and it was not the meat part. My other friend’s fried noodle and “tongseng” came after 1.5hour of waiting. This is really really unacceptable. I would rather go to the other Indonesian restaurants in JLT. Though their price is a bit higher but the quality and the service are much...

Hi Sir/Madam, I recently had the opportunity to visit House of Indonesia, your new restaurant. I would like to address a few concerns: I had a conversation with the marketing manager regarding some of the menus not living up to their promised taste. However, the response I received was that if I feel this way, it means our menu has failed. I noticed that your staff lacks adequate knowledge about the products. When I inquired about the details of the Ikan Cakalang menu, one of your staff members claimed it was a standard dish from Kalimantan, while my understanding is that it originates from Manado. A significant portion, approximately 80%, of your menu items were unavailable. I ordered the Fish Cakalang, but it caused itching after consumption. When I informed a staff member, she responded by asking me which exact fish I had ordered. Instead of going around the topic, an apology would have been more appropriate. In the end, your team offered us a complimentary Rujak as a token of apology. As a new restaurant, it is important to be open to feedback in order to improve the quality of your food...

Overrated, overpriced restaurafoodn My Very Honest Opinion, cz the fact that the service is horrible. In my experience, first i came They didnt welcome you, escort u cz you greet them, gave me the menu, leave you and just chit-chating with colleagues, never come back. I need to approached them back to cashier to order, am waiting for 15 minutes in my table after the menu given. The worst is i Saw that they just serving and showing hospitality to the table of someone that they know i assumed. Approached my table once to ask how my food was.Itsn doesnt cooker properly. Just a salad, so its fine for me. But the way she handle it. Not even sorry from her end. Just an "oh, okay" Seems she is the head waiter or Supervisor. A lady, beefy, always in ponytail i guess. The advertise is good, the ambience is also amazing. But the hospitality, behavioral of the staff and the food quality. BOOOOO, HORRIBLE. Better find another restaurant if u wanna try authentic...

Singlehandedly, the best Indonesian restaurant in Dubai (yea I said what I said, fight me). As a local Indonesian, I struggle to find good Indo food here in Dubai. The atmosphere itself, 10/10 I felt like I was being transported back to Indonesia. The food? It actually tasted AUTHENTIC, it was phenomenal. Not to mention they offer dishes that are not commonly served at Indonesian restaurants. The staff, super duper welcoming and helpful. One of the things I missed about Indonesia was it’s overall hospitality that you just cannot get anywhere else, and I’ve certainly felt that here. Overall, could not reccomend enough. Forget about all other Indo restaurants here in Dubai, trust me just come here.
