I actually came with my Indonesian friends. At first I was amazed by the design of the restaurant. It was nicely done. But the experience ruined it all. We all had to wait for 1 hour+ for the food to come and the restaurant was not busy at all. There were only 2 other tables. We all ordered different dishes. A lot of the menu were not available when we ordered but the worst part is that the waitress told us that the Oxtail was not available after 1 hour waiting without even apologizing. My āsoto betawiā was horrible. The beef that they served was all but the meat part. Literally nothing I could chew. I told the waiter that it was so hard and he did not even acknowledge. He just left without saying anything or giving any resolution. I ended up only eating only the rice, the soup and the tomato in the soup. My friendās ācoto makasarā had the same issue - beef was too hard and it was not the meat part. My other friendās fried noodle and ātongsengā came after 1.5hour of waiting. This is really really unacceptable. I would rather go to the other Indonesian restaurants in JLT. Though their price is a bit higher but the quality and the service are much...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHi Sir/Madam, I recently had the opportunity to visit House of Indonesia, your new restaurant. I would like to address a few concerns: I had a conversation with the marketing manager regarding some of the menus not living up to their promised taste. However, the response I received was that if I feel this way, it means our menu has failed. I noticed that your staff lacks adequate knowledge about the products. When I inquired about the details of the Ikan Cakalang menu, one of your staff members claimed it was a standard dish from Kalimantan, while my understanding is that it originates from Manado. A significant portion, approximately 80%, of your menu items were unavailable. I ordered the Fish Cakalang, but it caused itching after consumption. When I informed a staff member, she responded by asking me which exact fish I had ordered. Instead of going around the topic, an apology would have been more appropriate. In the end, your team offered us a complimentary Rujak as a token of apology. As a new restaurant, it is important to be open to feedback in order to improve the quality of your food...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOverrated, overpriced restaurafoodn My Very Honest Opinion, cz the fact that the service is horrible. In my experience, first i came They didnt welcome you, escort u cz you greet them, gave me the menu, leave you and just chit-chating with colleagues, never come back. I need to approached them back to cashier to order, am waiting for 15 minutes in my table after the menu given. The worst is i Saw that they just serving and showing hospitality to the table of someone that they know i assumed. Approached my table once to ask how my food was.Itsn doesnt cooker properly. Just a salad, so its fine for me. But the way she handle it. Not even sorry from her end. Just an "oh, okay" Seems she is the head waiter or Supervisor. A lady, beefy, always in ponytail i guess. The advertise is good, the ambience is also amazing. But the hospitality, behavioral of the staff and the food quality. BOOOOO, HORRIBLE. Better find another restaurant if u wanna try authentic...
