If you care about safety, responsibility, and basic human decency — stay far away from this hotel.

While my mother and I were having dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, a full water bottle fell from above and struck her arm. The impact was so severe that she screamed in pain, and we had to call an ambulance. This was a terrifying experience — but the hotel’s response made it even worse.

When I asked to speak with the general manager, I was told he wasn’t available and that he wasn’t answering calls. We were promised he would meet us the next morning — he didn’t. Eventually, after several persistent requests, he showed up with a so-called “security manager.” Instead of showing empathy, they mocked us, acted arrogantly, and never offered a single apology.

To avoid any responsibility, the hotel immediately fabricated a story, claiming that “some children on the 24th floor balcony were playing and dropped the bottle.” That version makes absolutely no sense: • The building is designed with protective overhangs starting from a certain level, specifically intended to prevent objects from falling from higher floors into the areas below — including the restaurant terrace.There are no such overhangs on lower floors, but from the 24th floor, the overhangs would have blocked a direct fall, making the hotel’s explanation physically implausible. • A bottle falling from such a height would very likely have broken a bone or caused even more serious injuries. • There was a small child in a high chair at the table next to ours — if the bottle had hit that child instead of my mother, it could have been fatal.

Even more troubling, the hotel repeatedly emphasized that everything above the pool floor is not part of the hotel, but rather private apartments — a clear attempt to shift blame and deny any responsibility. However, the incident occurred in the hotel’s own restaurant, on property fully operated by the hotel.

When I called the police, they showed no interest in investigating and claimed that filing a complaint could prevent us from leaving the country — a statement I later found out was completely untrue and felt like an intentional scare tactic.

As for “compensation”? They offered us a free lunch and dinner — as if that makes up for my mother’s injury, the emotional trauma, or the near-tragic danger to an innocent child.

This hotel is dangerously irresponsible. It does not ensure the safety of its guests. It refuses to take accountability, and when something serious happens, you’ll be met with indifference, arrogance, and manipulation.

A huge part of our amazing experience was thanks to Ashree, whose exceptional hospitality set the perfect tone for our stay, we owe our unforgettable stay to this lovely lady. She truly made a difference, ensuring that everything felt warm, seamless, and beyond expectations. Omar, Catherine, and Essam also contributed to this wonderful first impression, making our check-in smooth and delightful. So, big thanks for great team work!

While our departure was pleasant and impressive too, having Maureen and Syed sent us off with warm smiles, helping with our luggage and ensuring our final moments at the hotel were just as smooth as possible.

Our room was absolutely magical—a huge terrace with a breathtaking Marina view, almost like a fairytale. We couldn't get enough! The luxurious amenities and the bathtub overlooking the Marina were pure indulgence. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, making for a perfect night's sleep. During the night shift, Shcool went the extra mile to ensure our comfort, kindly setting up an extra blanket and making sure we had everything we needed.

Breakfast was another highlight! Donna provided exceptional service, with a keen eye for detail that elevated the experience to fine dining levels. She made sure everything was tailored to our liking, always with a warm smile.

The buffet Iftar could have had a bit more variety, but we truly appreciated the effort from the team, especially Vijay, who ensured we had a great experience.

The infinity pool is a must-experience—absolutely stunning! We are already looking forward to coming back.

A big shoutout to the valet parking team, who were incredibly professional, kind, and always ready to assist with our car and luggage. Their calm and courteous service made a great impression.
