For a trip down memory lane of a lovely vacation we had at Hanoi, Vietnam we decided to head out to Hanoi Naturally. It's a quaint little restaurant located in cluster C which has interiors that are very reminiscent of being in Vietnam with the bamboo chairs and the pictures on the wall. Also the kitchen counter and its cutlery which was absolutely close to its brothers in Vietnam. Felt like a ride down the good old days. They've got almost all dishes you'd find in Vietnam sans Bahn mi but with the variety they have you won't really miss it.
Here's what we tried: Pho with mixed meat: The pho broth was rich, aromatic and flavourful. Everything that you'd expect from pho, honestly it was quite perfect without any condiments, it really didn't need anything at all. For the meat there was some really great quality meat and meatballs which had a lot of flavor. The broth had seeped through and lended an amazing taste to the food.
Chicken wings: I think these are quintessentially Vietnamese street food and was very close to the versions we'd tried there. I think they're the perfect accompaniment to some beer.
Chicken spring rolls: the chicken spring rolls were the best ones that we've ever had anywhere. I genuinely mean this. In most places the deep fried coating overpowers the filling but this was the most amazing combination of a strong filling with a light deep fried coating which was just wonderful. I would highly recommend this. Coconut curry tofu with garlic fried rice: the garlic fried rice was light and subtle but the curry was the real hero of the dish. The curry was sweet and light and all things nice. It had some really great body and substance and the tofu was really light and complimented it well. Super enjoyed it. Vietnamese iced coffee: this was one of the few places I've seen do it authentically with filtered coffee served on the side and condensed milk with ice. Needless to say the output was simply amazing. Mint cooler: a good one to supplement the heat once the husband loaded the pho with chillies 😅
Genuinely enjoyed the food. The service was simply amazing too. Theres a certain sort of warmth amongst Vietnamese people and I felt that in the restaurant and its service. Genuinely enjoyed everything to do with the place and it's food. Highly...
Read moreA Refreshing Experience of dining at @hanoinaturally ♥️ .. This family run restaurant is very calming from inside and has those dull street lights feel inside and if you sit outside of course its all-street lights there. We loved how the walls had portrait of Hanoi’s market, had a picture of owner’s mother and her friends (which looked so deep) and there were so many artificial green plants inside. .. We been bloggers for little of a year now but we have never had proper Vietnamese food. But recently when we were invited by @hanoinaturally we were excited and at the same time skeptical since we are vegetarians. And to our surprise that had many Vegan option which of course us vegetarians can consume. Since we knew nothing about Vietnamese food, we took staff’s help in ordering vegan food for us. They helped us with the menu and here is what we had:
Appetizers:
Main course: 3) Vegan Pho, is noodle soup served with lemon grass, sprout roots, boiled noodles and sum herbs inside and some fresh as well. 4) Bun Bowl, which had all healthy ingredients like rice vermicelli noodles, fresh salad, topped with roasted peanuts, fresh salads, fresh herbs and some tangy sauces alongside sauteed Tofu. 5) Sizzling on Hot Plate (Rice Set): Sticky rice served with some vegetables tossed in Vietnamese style. Drinks: 6) Hanoi Fresh homemade Lemonade 7) Freshly squeezed Orange Juice.
Overall, we Had a great experience and it definitely was an experience for us to remember. We have actually become fond of Bun Bowl and Sizzling on Hot plate and we must add all of this food is way to healthier than any other countries cuisine.
We would highly recommend this restaurant. #vietnamesefood #vietnamstreetstyle #vietnamfood #vietnamesecuisine #vietnamcuisine #vietnamesesong #vietnameserestaurant #hanoinaturally #hanoifood #hanoian #foodyhanoi #hanoistreetfood #dubairestaurants #dubairestaurant #dubaifoodie #dubaiblogger #dubaiblog #dubaifoodblogger #dubaifood #jlt #indianblogger #indianfoodblogger #visitdubai #lovindubai...
Read moreI don't know where to start but to summarize my review below: this place is amazing, a delight for Asian cuisine lovers! (And if you're not yet, you will be after visiting Hanoi Naturally!)
It is a cosy, local-feel restaurant nestled in the JLT area. Staff makes you feel home and is knowledgable about it's dishes and ingredients.
Simple, yet fresh and delicious. Starting with your arrival where you are served immediately the menu and fresh condiments, lemon, lettuce, mint and coriander. This is a nice gesture and super fresh, like they selected only the most crisp leaves for you.
The ordered food arrived very quick, the salad with cabbage, cucumber, carrot, mint and peanuts in a tagi sauce. It's a bit difficult to eat but tasty and worth looking a bit funny.
The most wholesome and epic dish was the Braised eggplant with tofu main course, recommended to be accomplished by steamed rice. The rice texture is just right and matches the stew - which is not too oily or heavy, feels light with good quality eggplant and nicely prepared tofu.
As dessert, the banana fritters are a nice finishing, paired with caramel drizzled vanilla icecream. It is good to share with 2 people.
Lastly, I can't miss to recommend the Iced Hanoi Bubba Coffee. I would definitely drive from the other side of town to have this again. The Hanoi Coffee is made in a special way at your table and it is a taste you can't find anywhere in Dubai. Together with the Bubba it is an extraordinary beverage to try.
I can't wait to go again and definitely will bring my...
