Review of Little Bangkok, Dubai Hills
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Little Bangkok, a delightful restaurant located in Dubai Hills. While the restaurant itself offers a fantastic ambiance and an extensive menu of delicious Thai cuisine, I would like to focus this review on the exceptional service provided by the waitress, Miss Sriya.
From the moment I entered the restaurant, Miss Sriya greeted me with a warm and friendly smile, instantly making me feel welcome. She exuded professionalism and was extremely attentive throughout my entire dining experience. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she was more than willing to provide recommendations and answer any questions I had about the dishes.
What truly set Miss Sriya apart was her genuine passion for her work and her dedication to ensuring that every customer had a memorable dining experience. She took the time to explain the Thai flavors and ingredients used in each dish, making my dining experience not only enjoyable but also educational.
Miss Sriya's attention to detail was impeccable. She paid close attention to my dietary preferences and made sure that my order was prepared exactly as requested. She also ensured that my water glass was never empty and promptly addressed any additional requests I had throughout the meal.
Furthermore, her warm and friendly demeanor created a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Despite the restaurant being busy, Miss Sriya managed to provide personalized service to each customer, making everyone feel valued and appreciated.
Overall, my experience at Little Bangkok was made truly exceptional by the outstanding service provided by Miss Sriya. Her professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care for her customers elevated the dining experience to another level. I would highly recommend visiting Little Bangkok in Dubai Hills, not only for its delicious Thai cuisine but also for the exceptional service delivered...

I recently visited Little Bangkok with a friend. I opted for their "Unlimited Prawns Thainamite" offer, which came with a main course, and I chose the Pad Med Chicken. My friend ordered the Pad Thai separately.
The food itself seemed promising. However, the dining experience took a sharp downturn due to the restaurant's policies. My friend found their Pad Thai to be a bit too spicy and asked if we could swap our main dishes. We did so, and almost immediately, a waiter approached our table. He apologized and explained that he had to enforce the restaurant's policy, which stated that sharing was not allowed with the offer I had chosen.
While we understood he was just doing his job, this led to an uncomfortable and rather persistent discussion, which unfortunately ruined the rest of our meal. It was difficult to enjoy the food after such an unpleasant interaction, which stemmed from a management decision.
Furthermore, the "Unlimited Prawns Thainamite" appetizer felt misleading. The term "unlimited" suggests you can have more, but I was only asked once what we wanted for the appetizer, and that was it. There was no offer for refills, making it not truly "unlimited" as advertised.
While the food might have been tasty, and the waiter himself was apologetic for the situation, the overall experience, dictated by inflexible and arguably customer-unfriendly management policies, makes it difficult for me to recommend Little Bangkok. The unpleasant atmosphere created by these rules overshadowed any enjoyment we might have had from the food. The issue here clearly lies with the management's approach, not necessarily the...
Read moreIt says a lot that last night was the first time we’ve ever walked out of a restaurant still hungry.
We’ve been loyal customers of Little Bangkok for a long time, regularly dining at the SZR branch. Last night was our first time visiting the Dubai Hills branch—and unfortunately, it was our worst experience with the brand.
The biggest disappointment, was the attitude of the branch manager, Mikel. The rice portion served was significantly smaller than what we’re used to at SZR. When we politely raised this, he insisted that it was their standard quantity and refused to adjust it, even though we clearly expressed our dissatisfaction. Instead of offering a solution or even an apology, he doubled down and said we will be charged for any adjustment as it will be considered as an extra order. He handled the situation with a lack of professionalism and showed no willingness to help, something we’ve never experienced at any other Little Bangkok location.
We even told him this would be our last visit to this branch, but he showed no concern and didn’t take any action to recover the situation. It’s unfortunate that one person’s attitude can ruin what was supposed to be a pleasant evening.
Adding that food took over 25 minutes to be served, and we had to ask for condiments multiple times before they were finally brought to the table. To make matters worse, our appetizer (spring rolls) was served after we had nearly finished our meal. The entire flow of the dining experience was off.
This experience has left us extremely disappointed. We sincerely hope the management takes note and addresses these service and attitude issues before more loyal customers are...
