Our night started right. Good weather. Nice table. Took them time to serve the first cocktail. Not good at all, taste like water. We booked for 3 people. We ordered for 3. Our other guest didn't come so we ate slowly. We were in the middle of eating the last two dishes and the server came and asked whether we can be moved to the bar because our table is booked for other people. Like what?why? We obviously said no but it ruined the entire mood already. A lady supervisor came again and asked us if we could leave. Said our notification shld have said 90mins only. We checked, it's for 2 hrs. We showed it to her. Then she said because we were just 2 we are only allowed to eat within 90 mins. If 3 then 2 hrs. Logic? Obviously the staff didn't make it better at all except for one lady who said sorry because she saw us pouring water on our own. The Manager was the worst to handle the situation. Very agressive to justify his staff's behaviour and wasn't even polite at all. Doesn't know how to manage the situation. He tried to offer a round of drinks at the bar in the end to compensate but we said no. Wouldn't change the entire bad experience. They could have said it in a nice way before the meal. Other restaurants do that and we always politely agreed. Nobu is not a cheap place to eat. They should invest more on choosing and training staff because it just ruins the entire experience. It's not about how delicious the food was but how the staff made us feel. Worst? The couple on the table beside us came before us and was never asked to leave. Let's not even touch the subject why it was the case 🙄🙄. I have been in Dubai for 20 years. Been to almost all types of restaurants. This exclusive beach club exceeded all my expectations, offering a perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and exceptional service.
