This place needs to have a serious look at their occupancy vs what they can actually cope with. Staff rushed off their feet as they need about twice the amount. As a result they miss stuff which only compounds the problem.
100% the Managements fault and not the staff.
I like some tunes but I donât get why places insist on having the volume, bass and treble slammed right up so you canât even hold a conversation with someone sitting 1m away.
Atmosphere is relative to the sounds, too low and itâs dead, too much and itâs counter productive.
The levels and the number of speakers result in a lot of sound crashing. Some questionable mixing from the DJ also doesnât help.
Turn it down a bit and everyone will actually get to hear and enjoy the music instead of having their brains smashed in.
Canât imagine what itâs like staying in the rooms on the pool side. Must be horrific.
I canât rate the food as Iâve been waiting an hour for two salads. (Got them eventually, food was good but two meals and one set of cutlery doesnât add up, chap went to get me a set but never returned as he likely got sidetracked with a million other things)
It is EID but the place has a certain amount of beds and it isnât 100% full so itâs purely a management issue.
Beyond the staffing level issues there seems to me to be a fundamental flaw with the hotel layout. The food all comes from a underground kitchen the door to which is right next to the door to the menâs main restroom đ¤˘
That is at the bottom of a set of stairs so the food has to travel a long and treacherous journey with guests coming and going up and down the stairs. The gents door was edged open and a weird cheesy smell was wafting in from the kitchen door.
Of course during the busiest time of year. They also scheduled maintainence of that entire area (which is the size of a a small room)
I heard a supervisor or someone in a higher position giving the workmen grief for being in the way. What exactly are they meant to do?
Root Cause - Poor management again.
The lack of staff also makes me wonder about hygiene. Itâs one of the first things to slip when things get busy. Standing at the bars you can see the results of how busy it is. Messy, stuff lying around every where. Drinks sitting in the heat in the metal wheeled trolleys that they arrive on trucks in. Bins overflowing.
Place maybe has potential but itâs been in existence for too long to be in that category.
Maybe ask your guests for random feedback while they are here instead of leaving it to reviews. Must be a lot of folks who...
Read moreVery bad experience. Went there on Sunday for the Drip pool party. Me and my boyfriend booked in advance and on arrival nobody even asked if we have a reservation. They just sold a package and informed only about what drinks are included, no information about the timing of the deal at all. But we were sure the offer is from 12-5pm, as it mentioned on the web site and Instagram page. Hostess just wore a bracelets and never escorted us to sun beds. Outside we realized there are no available sun beds. So we stay in the middle of the place waiting for any help, but we were ignored by all staff. Only one waiter was trying his best to solve the problem and arranged for us some extra beds in the corner ( unfortunately didnât ask his name). At 3:58pm we went to grab a drinks and security informed us thatâs the package is over in 2 min. We got shocked as per advertising of the offer it was mentioned 12-5pm. Then we asked a few waiters and all of them were giving a different information. They confused us even more, so we called the manager. The manager came saying that the package is till 4pm, but the party is till 5pm. Which doesnât make Any sense. We showed him the Instagram post with a wrong timing and web site as well. Not knowing what to reply on it, he offered to us few more drinks to solve it. At the end our mood and day off were completely spoiled. The conclusion is Wet Deck never ever again. Very bad connections between...
