I recently visited the White House Restaurant, and I must say it has quickly become one of the best South Indian restaurants in the region. The restaurant offers a spacious seating area with private cabins, making it an ideal choice for families. The moment I walked in, I was impressed by the comfortable and inviting ambiance.
One of the standout features of this restaurant is its vast menu. They have a wide range of options that cater to different tastes and preferences. Whether you're a vegetarian or a non-vegetarian, you're bound to find something you love. What's even better is that the prices are quite affordable, making it a great value for money.
During my visit, I decided to try their chicken and fish dishes, and I was not disappointed. The food was incredibly fresh and packed with flavor. Each dish was cooked to perfection, leaving a lasting impression on my taste buds. The chicken was tender, and the fish was well-seasoned and delicious.
The dining area is spacious, allowing for a comfortable dining experience. It's a great place to gather with friends and family. I also appreciated the fact that the wash area was combined for both males and females, although it would be even better if they had separate facilities for added comfort.
Among the dishes I tried, the ghee rice, beef ,vegetable kuruma, chicken 65, payyoli chicken Kerala porotta were absolute treats to the taste buds. The Kerala porotta was incredibly soft and fluffy, making it a delightful accompaniment to the flavorful dishes. However, the beef roast was the only dish that didn't stand out; it was average in comparison to the other items.
I had a wonderful experience at the White House Restaurant. The combination of a spacious dining area, a variety of flavors, and reasonable prices makes it a must-visit for anyone who enjoys South Indian cuisine. I highly recommend trying their chicken and fish dishes, as well as their delectable Kerala porotta. It's a restaurant that offers great value for money and ensures a satisfying...
Read moreI decided to dine at this restaurant after seeing a promotional video on social media. The restaurant offers ample seating space and follows an open kitchen concept. Additionally, it provides a generous amount of parking spaces, both in the front and rear areas. Due to its popularity among families, we had to wait for approximately 10 minutes to secure a table when we arrived at 11:25 PM.
Our order included French Soup, their Special Chicken Curry, Beef Chilly, and various types of bread such as Parotta, Idiyappam, and Kallappam. The French Soup was a delight, with the right blend of flavors. However, the Special Chicken Curry was a disappointment, as it seemed like plain chicken pieces submerged in a bland gravy. The gravy had no distinctive taste and resembled the water left in a curry pot after washing it. We weren't entirely sure if the dish served as "Beef Chilly" was accurate, as it resembled a Beef dry fry with coconut pieces, which was decent.
One significant downside was the lack of attentive service. No one came to inquire if we needed anything else, which led us to decide not to order any desserts. We shared our feedback with the management at the cash counter, and the manager approached us in a polite and apologetic manner. They assured us that our next experience would be improved. I also considered that the service might have suffered due to the staff's exhaustion during the busy weekend.
I plan to give this restaurant another chance because of the positive way they handled our feedback, viewing it as an opportunity for improvement. This level of responsiveness and consideration is not always offered by most other...
Read moreI got the reference From an Instagram post decided to try it But wasn’t so great probably my expectations were too high We were seated after a short wait the person handling seats was doing his job exceptionally well Waiter took our orders and was able to guide us We orders French onion chicken soup Veg penne pasta in pesto sauce Kunchikoyi fry Beef varattu Chapathi/ Porotta/ kalappam Beef palkappa
Pasta was too salty which was sent back and forth 3 times and with each correction the pesto sauce was diluted I guess by adding more white sauce or cream dish was losing authenticity first time it tasted apt except salt being too high but later it transformed into amateur taste
Then we had soup was good The chicken fry had batter of chicken 65 so it was not upto our expectations or preference We assumed it to be naadan type Beef varattu Porotta chapathi was just average quantity of dish was apt Payal kappa tasted good but the ribs lacked any flavour it was well done precooked ribs just tossed before serving us As I’m a person who enjoys desi food was not ready to compromise on this steak kinda feeling on eating these ribs But the palkappa and the gravy was apt in quantity and tasted good we ate the kappa wasting the tasteless ribs 🙄 Atmosphere is loud . Service we asked for water thrice was not attended to then my friend went ahead to the fridge helped himself 😜 The customer seated next to us acknowledged how easily the request for water was not attended after 3 reminders. Maybe a busy overworked night...
