TIME Onyx Hotel Apartments — Hotel in Dubai

On account of an assignment, I was required to make multiple trips to Dubai. I decided to stay at Time Onyx given the close proximity of this hotel apartment to one of the satellite offices. During my one-week stay at this property last year, we encountered a few trivial issues, including a malfunctioning gas and teapot; nevertheless, each time we notified the staff, they promptly resolved the matter. I was not as bothered by the minor issues because the accommodation is quite roomy and there is sufficient parking. When I stayed at this property for a week earlier this year, I encountered comparable difficulties. I disregarded these concerns on the assumption that the frequent usage of these appliances by individuals may account for their ineffectiveness. Since my last visit to this establishment two weeks ago, the experience has continued to decline. At this time, neither cooking implements nor glasses to drink water were available. It took several phone calls before someone was able to deliver them to the room. The stove failed to function, and after three phone calls, someone eventually arrived to fix the problem. As the room safe was not functioning, I was required to contact the front desk in order to have a technician dispatched to repair it. I am uncertain as to whether it was the room in question, and I do not recollect encountering this particular issue during my previous visit; however, it is worth noting that the washroom sink exhibited suboptimal drainage capabilities. I also noticed a major change in their employees. It appears that the personnel at this particular establishment exhibit a lack of inclination to remain in their positions or have potentially been compelled to depart. In either case, it is evident that this establishment lacks friendliness, civility, and compassion. One of the worst hotel experience in my life! Rooms are not too bad, because the hotel is new, exists a couple of years, but the service is so poor. Below are some plusses and minuses. Pluses: stylish rooms, good kitchen with all the appliances (big fridge with freezer, microwave, cooker, tea pot (our first was leaking, they changed), wash machine with dryer), they provide a baby crib if necessary, the parking is free and usually it's easy to find a place Minuses: -we found cockroaches twice (first time in the kitchen, and second time in bathroom, after pest control, which looks like didn't help at all; after they gave us another room on the higher floor), not good smell and high humidity in rooms, not good room cleaning, old damaged towels and bedsheets, they give only 1 set of towels for the 3 persons family (every time we called to the reception to ask for extra bath towels, but we got it only after scandal and talking with duty -manager), they don't provide trash bin for second toilet ("this is our policy" said housekeeper in the first day 🤷), receptionists are not very helpful, in general I can say good words about staff only about two Egyptians (one works in the restaurant, another in lobby), breakfast is the same everyday and they don't provide too many options, but mostly you can find what to eat (just we feel bored from the same food after 3 weeks there).

So, the hotel has potential, but needs better management and better...

Outstanding Experience at Time Onyx Hotel Apartments!

From the moment we arrived at Time Onyx Hotel Apartments, we were genuinely impressed by the level of hospitality and professionalism shown by the entire team. We had initially booked a studio, but upon arrival, we realized we needed a bit more space. We spoke to the receptionist, Viju, who was incredibly kind, understanding, and went above and beyond to upgrade us to a 1BHK without any hassle. That level of flexibility and customer-first attitude truly set the tone for our stay.

The entire staff was amazing, especially Musthafa, who made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay. Whether it was a quick question or a small request, he was always there with a smile and a solution.

A special mention to the housekeeping team, Easin and Faran, who kept the apartment spotless and refreshed every day. Their attention to detail and professionalism really stood out, and they always made us feel at home.

Security was also top-notch, which gave us complete peace of mind during our entire visit. The hotel felt safe and secure at all times, with staff always present and attentive without being intrusive.

All in all, Time Onyx Hotel Apartments delivered way beyond our expectations. The service, staff, cleanliness, and safety were truly exceptional. We’ll definitely be coming back, and recommending it to everyone we know. Thank you for making our stay...
