Read moreAn amazing Thai restaurant located on the first floor of the Dusit D2, Dubai. The ambiance is classy and catchy. Indoor seating is cozy yet outdoor seating has a beautiful view of surrounding. I loved the way they had spread the warmness with bright colors all around. Lighting of the restaurant is just perfect to put your mood. Staff is very courteous, they welcome you at the doorstep and escort till your seat. Loved their passion for work. We had been fond of eating Thai food lately and heard about this restaurant. Instantly made our mind to go for it. Co-incidentally they are having a Pad-Thai challenge at their space in which if you are able to eat super spicy platter you are going to win the platter but if somehow, not then you have to pay for it. We instantly decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately I lost the game their as I couldn’t get through but hubby dear was the one who survived and won the challenge. Anyhow, apart from this challenge, I loved all their food staples particularly their pineapple rice which were just delicious if nothing else. Read moreYesterday we had dinner at Wise Kwai. Booking process over the phone was easy and we got advised that the actual restaurant is currently closed for renovations and that food would be served in their other restaurant.
Service was very friendly. It took a long time to get the food.
Papaya salad was super delicious and so was the soup. Appetizer sharing platter was tasty but not that much on it (4x2 pieces).
Green curry was good but could definitely use more veggies in it. Red curry was good but not spicy, even ordered spicy. Phad Thai was okay. Other main course was good. Overall the main courses were good, just not flooring.
By the time we finished dinner we had been there two hours, exactly what we paid parking for and that was without getting a dessert.
It was not busy.
When we made reservations we mentioned that we would come to celebrate two birthdays which was acknowledged over the phone but nothing was mentioned when we were there (incase you are looking for a place where birthdays get acknowledged, not here).
Overall we enjoyed the night...
