Nando's Aberdeen - Belmont Street — Restaurant in Aberdeen City

Atmosphere and cleanliness are of a consistent standard across the Nandos brand, as you would expect from a popular restaurant. Unfortunately, failed to meet food expectations not once, not twice but three times. Complained first time about food missing and cold, was given 2 free combination meals with starters (didn’t fully cover the whole meal but was acceptable). Came in about a week later and spoke to 1st Assistant Manager who honoured the meal. Took food home and again, missing 2 items from the meal AND the chicken has had a solid 1 inch pink line across the breast of the half chicken ordered. Called and spoke to 1st Asst Man who apologised and honoured same again. 3rd visit was last night and although pink line disappeared and food wasn’t all there, the quality was poor. Chicken was the driest yet and chips were soggy. Unfortunately no corrective action, especially when they knew this wasn’t the 3rd time. The atmosphere was nice (Standard Nando's environment.) I was very surprised at how small the portions were! I used to frequent Nando's in Glasgow and always felt each meal was filling. I spent £12 on a burger and it was about the size of McD's dollar menu serving. It said chicken breast but looked more like pheasant size. There were very few sauces available for the amount of people in our party. (I could suggest that when there is a big group someone be sent over to ask specifically if we had tried, or would like to try their selection of sauces. We ordered the no bone sharing platter where there's a whole boneless chicken with 4 regular sides. We had hot as the spicy level. The chicken was very juicy and delicious! Very well seasoned. The sides we ordered were 2 mashed potatoes, peri salted fries and spicy rice. The mashed potatoes were amazing and creamy. The peri salted chips were delicious. The spicy rice was alright. We also ordered the hummus and halloumi sticks which were pretty good. The hummus was pretty grainy and not smooth but it was acceptably good.
