We travelled all the way from Kinneff to Aberdeen yesterday to celebrate my birthday! We chose your restaurant for this special event!
I ordered the lamb shank to be told that was unavailable- So my husband and I both chose the lamb curry.
We were both VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED- the lamb curry we ordered was so salty that it was inedible - I tried adding rice and naan to try and lessen the impact of the excessive salt but nothing helped! I left my bowl of lamb curry and notified the waiter! He merely intimated that he would inform the chef!
No offer was made to address this matter in an appropriate fashion! I was not offered a cost waiver of the allied costs or an alternative dish!
Instead we were made to paid in full for AWFUL food!!!! That is unacceptable and totally unethical. My rights as a consumer were totally ignored by your staff! I paid you for food I could not eat as it was inedible. That is not correct!
You may have won awards in the past but this dish was over-salted and we , as customers, should not have been made to pay for an inedible meal after we notified your staff of how awful it was! He just said sorry! I left hungry and angry!
Shame on all of you, as this low quality meal does not represent the food we were told you are famous for! It was worthy of the dustbin!
I will be posting this review on TripAdvisor and on any other food forum I find appropriate! Other people need to know what we experienced!
Customer satisfaction should be your focus when serving a range of unique foods - instead my birthday meal was ruined by a heavy-handed addition of too much salt!
Address this matter with the attention it deserves! Margot van Ryneveld ( a deeply...
Read moreIt was quite an experience! I am foodie and I absolutely love great good and this one is such place you will have to visit once at least in your life time if you love Indian food. We ordered Tandoori chicken for starters, Lamb briyani and chicken chettinad for main course with some butter rotis, all of them were cooked to perfection and the Tandoori chicken just melted in my mouth. The Lamb briyani was out of world and don't miss this when you are here next time. Carrot Halwa for dessert deserves a special mention. Kudos to the chef and team for putting together such great food and presenting it...
Read moreI went in alone and asked about tastecard as I wanted to try two starters, I was told NO even though it was my card and I’m sure I could verify for two mains and two starters which I have done on other occasions at other restaurants. I wish I hadn’t walked a mile to come here as the food is VERY bland to say the least. I had the Biryani which usually comes with a vegetable curry? Mine came with what can only be described as a small dipping dish which was allegedly the sauce?? I will not be coming back here!! I knew I should have gone to Nando’s across the street. OMG £30 for a starter, main, nan...
