Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Amber Valley

I like to go here sometimes to have a change from Asda and Tesco. There is a good choice of breakfast and now a Vegan breakfast. All food is cooked fresh and not "ping dinners" I hate nuked food🙄I chose to have a Vegan breakfast of veggie sausage,beans,hash brown and toast. Order your food at the till,collect your cup,pay and they will give you a number which you slide in your red teapot on the table👍You help yourself to tea and coffee at the machines. There are free top ups too so no digging for extra change. Soya milk jiggers are available at the cutlery station. Food was quick and hot and everyone is friendly there. The cafe is big and spacious and everybody can spread out. It can get busy between 9am and 10am mostly ladies and babies having coffee. All pots are cleaned away by yourself on the stacker racks with trays. (I do hate folk that leave a messy table for others,it takes 2 minutes to clean up🤦🏻‍♀️) A nice change from the normal...

Dirty smell of damp socks throughout the cafe. Half the cutlery was dirty. Self service wasn’t working but still had to debate why I couldn’t use the self service (they are obsessed with it). When the breakfast came it was cold and I thought the Germans were coming as the “big breakfast” would have fit on a 10p coin. It reminded me of when you buy a coke from a pub and they cram it full of ice to squeeze as much profit out of you as they can. I didn’t mind too much.. the smaller breakfast meant I could get out quicker and escape the putrid smell.. best breakfast in Belper at one time wasn’t it? really gone down hill.. won’t be...

Don't normally stop off at this cafe when doing shopping but needed some thing to drink so we went here very reasonably priced the cup of tea I had was lovely my mum had a cappuccino she said that was fantastic toilets on hand nearby which is good and sometimes there is somewhere for you to park your trolley full of shopping securely while you have said cup of tea and if possible that seek to enjoy lol if you need a cup of tea and to relax for a few minutes and to rest when you've been around the store this is the place to go it's...
