Absolutely poor service and even poorer customer care/service! Arrived at 5.45 for the banquet meal on Sunday! We didn't get poppadoms for 35 minutes. We then had to wait another 50 minutes before getting the starters of which one of the parties starters was Incorrect and one of the parties onion bhajis were grossly overcooked and crispy throughout! Another table who had arrived 30 minutes later than ourselves were served their mains 30 minutes before our table (of which one of their mains were also incorrect) We proceeded to try and enjoy our night but another hour had passed and we finally got our mains!

My food arrived stone cold and three others were luke warm! Myself and another member did not want our meals and we asked for a replacement to take home and also asked for compensation, which they said they would sort, however they only replaced the currys without the naans or rice.

These were promptly 'dumped' on our table without another word from the waiter and he quite rudely walked off!

When we went to pay, they tried to refuse any reimbursement and we asked to speak to the manager, we were told the manager was the chef who couldn't come and speak to us as he had his 'whites' on - eventually the chef/manager came out and gave us a grand total of a £7.50 reimbursement and kept reminding us it is busy!

Whilst I completely understand that busy periods can cause delays, I cannot accept this as a reason for stone cold food arriving at the table and two guest refusing their meals and one elderly guest leaving profoundly upset - the chef even said to this customer that they are aware that this specific guest has been a customer for over 10 years, but they kept re-iterating that they are busy and cannot reduce the price for poor service and cold food more than £7.50

He also tried to tell me that I wouldn't expect to have a 4 course meal in 1.5 hours (poppadoms, starter, main and coffee) We didn't even have the coffee! - at which point he proceeded to tell us "well the coffee machine is here" (I'm sure they would appreciate me walking behind the bar and making myself a brew 🤣)

This has left the entire party extremely annoyed and disgruntled and as a result we will not be returning!

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND UNLESS YOU WANT TO GO HOME HUNGRY AND BE TALKED TO LIKE A CHILD AND LEAVE...

Will never eat here again. Had to wait for starters, one of the starters was wrong. Then sat waiting for around 45 minutes for the mains. When we eventually got our mains, 2 of the dishes were cold. They cleaned the starter plates away when they bought the main courses out and we had to ask for cutlery. We didn't get a table visit to ask if everything was ok. We had to inform them of the dishes which were cold. We were never offered coffee. Upon complaining about the cold dishes they offered us the 2 cold dishes to take home. We were told someone would come and see us about the problem and it was like they were trying to avoid us. The excuse we were given is that they were busy! We asked for a discount and was told they couldn't do that because it was the 4 course meal deal we had gone in for. (Cash only by the way, so most likely not going through the books) We asked for the manager and was told he was in the kitchen in his Chef's Whites so couldn't come to the front of house. When we insisted a guy came and spoke with us, saying he is the owner/manager. He offered us a refund of £7.50 and told us we were being unreasonable while he was being reasonable. Yes we did get 2 dishes to take home, which had barely any meat in and no rice or naan to go with it. Having been going since they opened I have never had such appalling or disgusting service and the owner or manager was arrogant. I pointed out we hadn't even had coffee and was told "Well the coffee is there" (behind the counter) we were then informed we are valuable customers and "please come back" our reply, No we will not be...

Myself and my friend had a very disappointing meal and experience here recently. It was the first time I had been out properly for months and I was really looking forward to it. We booked for 6pm and arrived on time. Our order was taken promptly but the service was excruciatingly slow. We ordered one poppadom each which arrived after about 10 minutes then we had a massive wait of about 35-40 mins for the starter to come out. The scallops were reasonable, there were only three in a dish with a bit of sauce, I appreciate that scallops are expensive, but the king prawn starter was a complete joke and insult, there were two prawns in a dish with a little bit of salad, the starters were gone in seconds. I'm guessing that portion sizes have been reduced dramatically since the August half price offer. We then had a monumental weight for the main courses to arrive. By the time it was 7.55pm, both myself and my friend had had enough. There was still no sign of the food appearing so we asked for it to be boxed up so we could take it away. In the space of 2 hours, we had eaten one poppadom each and three scallops and two prawns between us. Our night out was completely ruined. To make it worse we saw other people arrive after us, eat and then leave and our main courses hadn't even arrived. I can only guess that takeaway orders had taken priority which is going to alienate customers. The food which I ate luke warm when I got home was average. The naan was thin and tasteless, and the portions were small. Two stars is being generous and I certainly won't...
