Willow Wood — Restaurant in Amber Valley

Visited Willow Wood cafe with a friend for elevenses (coffee and cake) this week.

First impressions were excellent. The cafe was absolutely spotless. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, smiley and welcoming. It immediately gave us good vibes. We thoroughly enjoyed our coffees and home made egg custard tarts.

Whilst there, we looked at their menus. Both breakfast and lunch seem reasonably priced with plenty of choice. The staff appear to really value their customers and it made our day.

We've also found out that sections of the cafe are 'dog friendly' and there is a new patio that has been developed outside the rear of the cafe . We will definitely be returning with the pooch. Thank you...

On our first visit here I had a nice meal, Veg lasagne and chips. Last hot food order is as EARLY AS 2.15pm. We called in again and asked for toast or a tea cake at 2.30pm, but was suprised when I was told it was classed as hot meals. So sadly only cold cakes served after as EARLY AS 2.16 pm then closes 3pm. Cakes are normally eaten from 3pm, so might be best to look at closing 3.30pm. To give a better service times for hot...

Went today for a birthday lunch for my mum, the food was delicious and the staff were excellent so friendly and couldnt do enough for us. The cafe was also celebrating a birthday so we received a Prosecco and a piece of cake which was so kind of them and really made my mums birthday more special.
