I had the same comment made to myself and our 3 guests - they told us not to come back as they did to Amanda Harrison. Must be their favourite saying if a complaint is made. Two large glasses of coke were ordered which came out flat and when we remarked about it we were told that it had come from a fresh bottle. The biryani meals x 2 that were ordered were baked up to bits and the curry sauce that comes with it looked like a tin of mixed veg that had some sauce mixed in with it. When the mixed masala came out it was swimming in a load of thick juice which looked and tasted like tomato sauce. The chunks of meat were massive and you could not tell the difference between the so called chicken, lamb and whatever else had been added along with the bones. When the chunks were cut into they were black inside. Three of us couldn't even eat our meal as it was so disgusting. We discussed with them the final bill saying that we was only prepared to pay for one meal which they didn't agree with and wanted us to pay for 3 meals. After telling them straight that we were only paying for 1 meal and the drinks they told us that they never wanted to see us again and we said 'don't worry you won't'. Unfortunately we didn't have the best of experiences, we were a party of 7 pre booked. 4 of us arrived 10 minutes early and were happy to wait but were quickly shown to our table, menus supplied and drink orders taken. Within a couple of minutes we were asked if we were ready to order, we explained we were waiting for everyone to arrive. Another couple of minutes we were asked again, again we replied we were waiting for the rest of the party and it still wasn't our booked time yet. Our friends arrived on time and were shown to the table, drinks orders immediately taken and you guessed it we were asked if we were ready to order. The whole evening we felt we were being rushed even though the place was half empty all evening. The food was very mediocre and my lamb shashlik was tough as old boots, to be polite I asked for a doggy bag to take home rather than complain as I thought no one else at the table had any problems. We often get Indian from here and it has always been lovely but we had a takeout this evening and unfortunately it was less than good. We ordered the balti masala chicken tikka, when I went to pick it up I noticed in the recent it was jelfrezi . I told them and they said no problem, they would fix it, and took it back to the kitchen. 10 minutes later then back out and I thanked them as mistakes happen. when I got home I thought they replaced the Jelfrizi with the masala and the had written masala on the containers. However when we opened it we saw that they had not changed them and they were still Jelfrizi. We are very little as they were too spicy for us. Afterwards we called them to tell the kitchen had not changed our orders and ask for a refund. On the phone the man was not surprised it was still the wrong order but said that they do not offer refunds.
