Went in at 12 on the dot. Totally empty. I had to chase the waiter and he gave me the “I’m dealing with a booking, go sit back down, I’ll come over” rift. So drop a star. Maybe deal with what’s in front of you, like real customers. We ordered nachos and the basic burger and chips with skins on. They came quickly which was good. The chips were piping hot and ok, but layered in way too much salt. So drop a star. The nachos were the kind of thing you’d get in a cheap cinema, with poured cheese on, pre prepared chillies, and little flavour. The burger however was the lowlight. Just over halfway through, one of my teeth was wrecked. A piece of bone being the culprit. They asked us how the food was about halfway through and could see I had left mine, so I told the lady and showed her the piece of bone, they knocked the price of the burger off, which is about two thousand five hundred pounds shy of a new crown or dental implant. They said it’s because the meat is prepared in London. So it’s not from a local butcher. Anyway they said they’d raise it with the butcher, which will do about as much good as my asking the dentist for a free tooth, If you have teeth like Jaws off James Bond, then give it a go, otherwise bite tentatively, or better still...
Read moreDisappointed... Had heard good things about the vegan moving mountains burger, but when we ordered it turned out there wasn't any vegan cheese left so we chose to opt out instead of having cheddar. Then when we ordered onion strings (noted as vegan on the menu) the waitress came back and informed us its not actually vegan because they use buttermilk for the batter. Alright we said, thanks for letting us know, we'll be fine with rosemary salted fries. So even before the food came we were mistrustful. For the price the burger is absurd as it comes with no sides or anything. And the fries didn't have the slightest hint of rosemary which we had been looking forward to. The patty itself was good, the lettuce was fresh, and the tomato slice was nice and big. But the 'beetroot relish was just a couple slices from a jar, inserted into the burger to add to the odd bleeding fiasco. This Just made it really awkward and watery to eat. The waitress was kind enough to deduct the chips we left from the bill and we left. Not going to return. Toilets were dingy but mainly customers fault...
Read moreWhat a wonderful treat for the centre of Arundel. Wether you want a burger on its own or with all the trimmings then look no further. The burgers are so tasty and there are a variety of burgers to choose from. If you have fries I would get them to share as well as the ceaser salad, the Hullumi fries are the best i have ever had and are massive again a really good sharer. With everything else the salad could feed 2/4 depending on your own personal preference on portions. I came here for my birthday and arrived 30 minutes early....staff were so incredibly lovely and said we could take our seats. All smiley, Happy and professional which is so refreshing. They have a good children's menu & the burgers are a good size. They provided an activity sheet with crayons, this was a good distraction whilst we chose our meals and drinks. There drinks choices are plentiful and they have options for everyone. I really w joyed the daught lager and the Salted Caramel/ Barbon Shake....I could drink them all day. Over all I would say value for money, good atmosphere and we will definitely...
