I visited this cafĂ© recently and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing, primarily due to the customer service. Upon arrival, the staff member at the counter greeted us with a rather abrupt tone, asking âeating in or take away?ââand when we replied that we were dining in, she curtly told us to âgo sit downâ without any warmth or courtesy.
Later, the young waitress who served our table also showed a lack of friendliness. There was no smile, and when I said "thank you," I was met with a smirk. I also had to point out that the cup provided still had lipstick stains, which was quite off-putting and raises concerns about hygiene. Though the cup was replaced, the attitude remained dismissive.
What was especially concerning was the difference in treatment we observed between ourselves and other customers. While we were met with coldness, the same staff interacted much more pleasantly with British patrons. This discrepancy felt too noticeable to ignore and gave the impression that we were being treated differently because we are not British. If thatâs the case, itâs deeply disappointing and unacceptable.
Everyone deserves respectful service regardless of their background. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this cafĂ© to others, especially if inclusivity and good customer service are important to you. If working in hospitality isnât something you enjoy, particularly in a multicultural community, perhaps a different role might be...

Iâm not into smashed avocado on toast I want a proper low calorie fry up and double everything. I had the all day breakfast which came with all you see on the photos. Staff were great, friendly and quick to deliver the food. We sat by the front window as you walk in and consumed the beautiful views outside and the cosy snug ambiance of the CafĂ© itself. My only personal preference would be to swap the sausages for a local made sausage and to have the choice of bubble & squeak. Thatâs my preference and doesnât detract from the overall experience. Definitely...
Read morePartners Cafe offered a decent experience overall, though it didn't quite leave a lasting impression. The staff were pleasant and accommodating, but the coffee unfortunately tasted a bit like it came from an all-in-one machine rather than a proper bean-to-cup setup. The homemade cakes were okay, but nothing particularly noteworthy or memorable. I was a little disappointed with the overall experience, especially considering there are other cafes in the area with more appealing atmosphere and aesthetics. If you're in the neighborhood and looking for a quick bite, Partners Cafe is a viable option, but don't expect to...
