I'm really sad to write this review as I drove all the way from petworth after seeing great reviews online. But I write honest reviews and I have to stick to that. We visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon in June but it wasn't busy and had checked out the website beforehand. They offered a variety of takeaway packs according to the website including pancakes, waffles and birthday packs. Sounded great. So we enquired about it. No one had a clue what we were talking about so we showed them their own app and website. Only be told they no longer sell them, they didn't think? OK so we tried asking about various flavours but the staff just weren't that interested. Did they do take away boxes I asked? Yes... That was it, the entire explanation. So we purchased 3 ice creams. Didn't get asked about things like which cone? Any toppings etc? I asked for their version of a Mr Whippy with a flake, we also had a chocolate and a jaffa cake. Plus ordered 2 tubs of chocolate to take away. The tubs are actually very expensive compared to what we pay at our normal place. The Mr whippy was incredibly sweet and had no flake. I couldn't eat it and a seagull ended up having a treat. The other two were ok. But it was the service that let the place down. Staff just weren't interested. We stood next to the ice cream freezer as you walk into the shop to try and order and ask about the flavours (I have an allergy) but got told to move to the cash desk. We did that, paid and then waited where they pointed and eventually I noticed our ice creams sitting in the holder back up near the freezer and asked if they were ours? They'd forgotten to tell us .. They also forgot our tubs so more waiting. I only realised when I got home that we had asked for 1 litre of chocolate ice cream and got 2 half litres... Not too bad you'd think? Except I was charged £6.95 per tub instead of £11.95 per litre. All around sad at what was supposed to be a treat for my daughter turned out to be a disappointment. I really wanted to like this shop and maybe I caught them on a bad day? But they need to be a bit more customer friendly and especially if that customer is disabled or you are told that it may take a little longer to order as one party is autistic and sufferers very bad anxiety. Trying to rush her when the shop was actually really quiet at the time wasn't helpful. Maybe don't visit with expectations set too high and you'll be pleasantly surprised rather than disappointed. Don't use this place!! the person behind the counter was extremely rude!! And sounded very aggressive!!! she shouted at my wife get out get out wait on the road !!! . for looking in to see the prices .. while there was only one couple in the shop /being served

I wouldn't recommend taking your kids here.. If this is the way they talk and treat there customers ..

And How dare you shout at my wife like that ..!!!!!!! In front our kids aswell !!!!!! your disgraceful behaviour made both are kids cry ..

There is a lovely shop just on the sea front went too that had a welcoming atmosphere and didn't shout at you for trying to spend 15pounds on ice creams ..

This happened on Sunday the 9th August At around 6ish it was 110% this company!!!

I don't think I would forget who was very rude towards my wife would you ? ...

And blaming somone else is easy ..

You need too work on your customer service..
