Portuguese Grill — Restaurant in Arun

The absolute worse experience I had in the past 10 years all around. We came in, past the waitress, who happily ignored us, waited around until a colleague spotted us and told us to find a table. We sat down and waited for it to be emptied, they did but had to ask explicitly for menus as they forgot about us. Lot of options weren't available or there was a 45 waiting time for chicken (!!!). They took the order , brought the drinks, spilled it on my husband forgot the glass and after we've waited for our food past everyone around us ( a jacked potato and a schnitzel:) ) and they reassured us out food is next , they came back to ask us if we had ordered food and what was it :)) ironically it was the same order that took the order. Granted the universe had given us all the signs to leave before this and we ignored them, eventually we realized and went on, paid our drinks and will never come back. And no, there was no attempt of them to be relieved from paying the drinks after the awful experience , they did...

Nice experience every time we have been here. All staff very helpful. Would be easier if all of them would speak English. It was funny though when we asked for bread and had to Google translate it in Portuguese. Also, all that DELICIOUS food they have on display should be in the menu or at least the names and small description would be very nice in front of each tray. We had to ask three members of staff when we first went there to get an idea of what they are. Overall, great place - great people - great food!!! Update: Really nice surprise on our last visit to the restaurant, all old staff were there, with a smile but there is a new waiter with perfect English ( he is Portuguese) and great customer service skills just like others, which made our experience a 5☆ one. The food absolutely amazing, the service not so good because first, the blonde girl who attended us, put on the table the drinks but none ask if we want a glass ( not everyone drinks from the bottle). Another detail is that we had the table full of empty plates when the same girl bring the second plate leaving all empty plates there and when she left the plates, I needed put out the plates in another table for someone take them out. After that details, being honest, the food amazing and was a very big detail that while we benn waiting for our plates, one lady ( I don't know if part of direction or not,) bring to us few beans plus few olivs that later not been added to the bill.
