Greggs — Restaurant in Ashfield

Food is amazing, however, most of the time, it's all gone! When I finish at about four, I sometimes go and see that what i want is not there! They do not make enough sandwiches, they make them fresh for three and forget about it until close, appalling really. Prices are also going up every other week, it's 5p at a time but that adds up over time. Luckily, the sandwich meal deal is still 3.75 which is amazing! Moreover, the atmosphere tends to be tense whilst waiting as people push past to grab something from the fridge and employees rush you when you pay, making it even more tense as they speak fast and expect everything done quickly, most of the time you can't keep up! Not only that, you see the employees judge customers from time to time with looks! Not good at all! There are a few good staff there, but the rest...

Great food and very professional apart from one employee ages ago, he acted as if I was weird and made him uncomfortable even though I was literally just asking for an order. He got my order wrong, though I was too uncomfortable to ask again. He made me think I was unintelligible and it was very alienating really, I used to get bullied really badly for how I sound so he made me already low self esteem even lower. I wish I complained about this then. I hope you give your colleagues sensitivity training, seems like you do since I've had no problems since (and hes probably been let go or moved on to another job) it used to make going into Greggs an awkward...

Classic greggs delicious food. Atmosphere was comforting with plenty of helpful people. Employees seemed decently kind and helpful but weren't extremely kind, but of course I didn't expect that as they are just doing they're job not trying to make friends.
