What can I say,

This place is always nice to visit, it’s very chilled out and always has a nice vibe.

As soon as we walked through the doors, we were greeted straight away, they checked our booking and then before seating us the menus were cleaned In front of us,

As soon as we were seated we were handed over to our lovely waitress Trish, who was absolutely fantastic she went above and beyond, we were made to feel like the only ones she was serving even though we knew we wasn’t, the level of care we felt from her was out of this world.

Social distancing here was spot on, everything was marked out and very clear and tables were being cleaned and sanitised within minutes of people leaving, with plenty of hand sanitiser available, going to the salad bar is a bit different your waitress now gets the salad for you whilst you stand and decide what you would like from the salad bar, unlimited refills are also done by your waitress but yet again Trish was on the ball and as soon as she see an empty glass she was asking if we required more drinks.

Our starters arrived very quickly, and they were perfect couldn’t fault them at all, as soon as our starters were cleaned away our mains arrived and everything was cooked to perfection, I had a double up rump steak and it was cooked exactly how I wanted it to be.

We will be coming back here time and time again, if I could give more than 5 stars I totally would.

Came here with my partner and baby. We was served by a lovely waitress the table we had too was very spacious for our pram and didn’t feel crowded at all. We got 2 mains, 2 sides, 2 puddings and 3 drinks all came to about £65-£70 including 50% off discount.

THE TRIPLE COMBO - Came out piping hot, food was very nice, tasted fresh. Only thing I will add is we asked to double up the chips on this dish however when my partner poured out his chips we realised they were the same side so maybe just stick to the standard amount and don’t pay the extra.

WING ‘N’ WAVE COMBO - Again food came out hot, good portions however looked like it had been shoved on the plate but doesn’t change the taste. The steak was cooked to perfection however very chewy and fatty we put this down to the quality of steak they got in not the kitchens fault.

CRISPY CHICKEN FRIES With Satay sauce - My partner really enjoyed these how we would have been better if the satay sauce was hot.

HALLOUMI FRIES - Again very hot, cooked to perfection really nice side to go with the meal.

BELGIAN CHOCOLATE BROWNIE - Looked delicious and was warm too, I ordered extra ice cream which was nice.

LEMON BLIZZARD - Partner said this pudding was great however could have done with a bit more meringue in it but overall really nice.

Everything came out super fast and everyone was so lovely. The salad bar was stocked up and so was the bread rolls. The drinks refill machine was also very clean and tidy.

The last time we ever step foot in this place, on arrival to our table we found old food mushed into the floor under the chairs and table, bits of food on the chairs, kids toys under the table, the radiator we was seated next to didn’t work, also with food stuffed down the back of it (photos was taken), The table next to use was unoccupied with used napkins under the table with menus. Our party of 4 food order was, 2 ultimate mixed grills, 1 rump steak, 1chicken and bacon waffle. The order of rump steak and one of the mixed grill steaks was inedible, the chicken on both mixed grills was dry and almost inedible. By the time the food arrived to the table we all had our coats back on as the restaurant was freezing. Our waitress was amazing and handled the situation very well and very professionally. We was also informed that the bybrook barn establishment receives the lowest quality of meat distributed across the harvesters local to this one. I couldn’t agree more with the quality of our meals that night, and it’s not even the staff on the floors fault it’s the people that over look the locations. After being informed of this information about the meats by 2 members of staff we are obviously going to find a restaurant that serves a higher quality of food...
