Onion Bhaji — Restaurant in Babergh

Really Great Indian Restaurant Situated in the High Street in Long Melford.

The food and service was absolutely Fantastic.

We went fairly early on a Thursday Evening so was some of the 1st Customer in.

Was seated promptly and had some Poppadoms and a drinks to start.

Had the Onion Bhaji special which was Samosas Tandoori King Prawn and an Onion Bhaji. The spices and flavours of this starter was really really good.

For Main dinner we had Lamb Tikka Jalfrazi Mushroom Rice, and a Lamb Balti.

Again these dished were fantastic.

The Lamb was tender and the spices were great.

Highly recommended..

First meal here tonight and what an absolute delight. Without a doubt the best curry I tried yet and will be certainly coming back to try some more. Had a great lamb dish full of flavour and cooked fresh. Rice served on side surprised me most as I got used to Indian restaurants serving mediocre rice with takeaways. Rice here is really high quality basmati cooked to perfection, well seasoned and perfectly complimenting the meal. Delicious soft and fluffy naan just made the whole experience perfect. First visit for me and my husband and we was not disappointed. Greeted at the door by two lovely gentlemen, the atmosphere was perfect and the decor was 👍🏻. There were a few curry's that we were unsure of and so we ask one of the staff who was keen and extremely helpful describing the taste and the ingredients in several dishes.
