This is one of our favourite teashops in the area and one I would continue to visit in either summer or winter the goods on sale are so good! The teashop itself is very atmospheric. There are several areas and little ā€˜snugs’ for any party size. There is also an outside area which is very sweet. The welcome you get from the staff is lovely. You honestly feel like nothing is too much trouble. We were welcomed into one of the areas which boasts a long sharing table - lovely for groups of friends - but on this occasion it was just my husband and I. There were lots of delicious looking homemade cakes available but as we were nearly lunchtime both of us chose savouries. I had a cheese scone which was served with cream cheese and the best chutney I have had in a long time. The scone was wonderfully fresh; obviously made that morning - and that’s what sets this place apart from other teashops. The produce is always fresh. My husband had a bagel with chicken salad. It was generously filled and looked very appetising. Again you know that this has been freshly prepared and not previously done and left. All in all another great visit. Thank you!

I had business in Sudbury and was recommended Long Melford for lunch. Ive availed of the mint tea (quality is amazing), the New Yorker grilled panini (as an American it gets my seal of approval), and I’m just about to have a piece of one of the many cakes available (this one is ā€˜Caramel latte’) with a Caramel latte! Soft jazz, lovely rooms, so personal. Just perfect. Been sitting working for a few hours now. I’ll be back!

If I could I would give this little coffee shop 10 stars. Stopped here for a light lunch and the selection of cakes were amazing , so much choice , all baked by one lady. The portions were very generous enough to share which we did with salmon and cream cheese sandwiches to share also. Very friendly staff. All set in a lovely village setting well worth spending a few hours here.

Shocking quality of food. Cakes were dry and the place clearly had inside a fly infestation so we had to move to another room. While the young lady that served us was very polite the large lady with black hair was very abrupt. Shame because on Facebook the cakes and food looked amazing. Went to the tea rooms straight after to buy some quality cake. Definitely stick to the tea rooms in the future as they are far more friendly and the their food never disappoints. And this is not a fake review. You just didn’t...

Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere! So many choices of cakes too. We all had something different to eat and drink and thoroughly enjoyed every bite! The staff were very friendly and I loved that there were different rooms to sit in inside, so it wasn't too busy or noisy. Everywhere was very clean too. We were also very grateful that they accepted a gift voucher that had passed the expiry date, as we'd been unable to use the vouchers last year when my husband had been shielding due...
