Taco Bell — Restaurant in Barnsley

Utterly abysmal service! Avoid! We ordered food for 4 people using click and collect, they told us to collect the food at 7:30 but when i got there at about 7:32 they told us the food would be another 20 minutes, a little bit annoying i thought but hey it's not the end of the world. It was then i discovered another guy had been waiting half an hour for food ordered an hour earlier, another had been waiting 20 minutes already and the drive through queue hadn't moved for 15 minutes leaving people physically trapped unable to leave the restaurant with their vehicles! Over the next 40 minutes while i waited for my food to come only one car made it through the drive through with others remaining trapped unable to go anywhere, the other 2 people inside received their food with one returning a minute later because they'd missed part of his order which he then had to wait for again presumably leaving the rest of his order to go cold! In this same time 4 or 5 delivery drivers arrived to collect orders, none of which were ready, some hung around while others waited 10 minutes before leaving (they only get paid for orders they deliver after all) a couple returned while i was still there but again their orders were not ready. Regardless of this the staff were still accepting new orders which it was clearly they were totally unprepared to deliver on any time soon. Eventually i got my food 40 minutes late checked everything was there and headed home. Upon getting home the order was wrong, for example an item labelled as "Volcano Burrito" was not a volcano burrito at all and was instead one of the cheaper wraps, some of the food was stone cold and essentially the whole meal was a waste of time and money. As terrible as our experience with Taco Bell was i feel worse for those people left stuck in the drive through for over an hour, unable to escape. This place is badly run and frankly should be shut down, whoever manages this franchise should be ashamed of their...

Me and my partner were just about to start our journey to London and thought we would stop at Taco Bell first to save being caught at the overly priced service stations along the way. We got to the drive through with only 1 person in front of us. We pulled up to the speaker to order and it was silent for a good few minutes. My partner was in the drivers seat but I shouted hello over him. The guy on the other end said that he'll just be a minute. No worries must be a bit busy we thought. A few moments later he returned and asked for our order. No mention of what was to come... We were asked to pull round to the other window and the car that was in front of us was still there. It was half an hour later that we pulled away from the drive through window with our food with an even bigger queue behind us who must all have been feeling as frustrated as we were. Especially considering this place classes it's self as "fast food" of which it certainly wasn't. The food was still super good and it set us for a brilliant Valentine's day in London but they seriously need to make sure that service doesn't happen...

Hard to judge food really, had a "meal for 2" We both enjoyed the flavour but the extremely small amount of mince was pathetic really, wasn't enough to put an extremely thin layer all the way across the taco and on the supreme thing so that is why it's so low of a score, drinks were from drinks machine so was fine aside from cup, food really is tasty just anorexic with regards to amount of mince and fillings so its more wrap and taco than anything else.

The place was seriously empty and had only 1 couple in aside from us, only 1 car went through drive through so explains why staff was just chatting away even when the cup we got was split and went all over the floor which I cleaned up with a bunch of serviettes since the staff didn't help and I didn't want anyone to slip, I asked for a new cup as other was split so can't say they didn't know, one who serves us was very polite and helpful though.

Atmosphere .... Empty Cold Uninviting

Rounded it off as a 3 star as it wasn't bad just wasn't good enough to justify anything higher...
