We arrived slightly late but this wasn't a problem. The staff and manageress were very friendly and accommodating, we had a drink and were shown to our table. Peroni on draught and a bottle of pinot grigio both excellent. Lovely atmosphere upstairs lovely aroma coming from the kitchen got our appetites going straight away. We both started with the fungi ti amos which was delicious and for main I had the pork shank which again was superb, literally fell off the bone. My partner had seafood tagliatelle. Great choice of food in the menu and from the specials board. Afterwards we sat outside at the back and met a couple of the chefs who are very nice and Italian so very authentic which is very important having been very disappointed at other restaurants recently who pretend to be authentic. We then decided to leave and on our way out met Paulio the owner who again was very friendly and gave us a couple of free shots for the road. All in all a lovely evening, great service and superb food, we shall return...
Read moreI have forgotten how many times we have been to Tiamo, it is hands down the best Italian restaurant in the UK. The staff are always friendly and have the biggest smiles on their faces, the manager is a joy and always goes out of his way to make it an enjoyable atmosphere, we always get massive Costco birthday cakes and the staff bring them upstairs and get the whole restaurant up singing. This has always been a special place to me and if I am in the country for my birthday we always go here, and recently we’ve been going for other family members birthdays and my partners too. The food is best quality I always get the same dish however last time I went I heard it had been removed from the menu i was gutted 😩 please bring the Squid Ink Seafood Linguine back !!!!! At the end of the meals you also was get a free drink to compliment the meal. Don’t change a thing you do apart from reinstate my most favourite meal back on your menu
Always ⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from the whole...
Read moreFood has always been good here but a couple of months ago I had a table for 12 booked on a Friday evening - the restaurant phoned me around 5pm to confirm our booking but then as my friends started to arrive at the restaurant at 8pm, they found the door locked and the restaurant closed. I rang and spoke to a rather rude lady who was adamant that I HAD been phoned and informed that the restaurant had closed (due to a very dodgy story about car brakes failing). Once I finally convinced her that I wouldn't send my friends to a closed restaurant and that I genuinely hadn't been phoned, she changed her tune and apologised although it still left 12 people with nowhere to go for a meal - needless to say we shall not...
