Burger King — Restaurant in Basildon

Walked in, the doors are just a pool of greasy handmarks and smears, no clean windows or handles, the sump on my motorcycle is cleaner. The front counter is just chaos, no one knows who's next or what till to go to, even the staff at the tills haven't got a clue, it's just a free for all. No one knows if you've ordered on the app or waiting to order, just chaos all round. Had to clean my own table before I sat down for god's sake. The food turned up after a 15 minute wait and it's not busy in here. Yeah it was a typical BK. Had to wash my hands before I sat down to eat, once it finally arrived. Well from the pics you can see the state of the toilets, if it's like that in there, what's the hygiene like in the kitchen and with the staff. No soap, one hand dryer working only, floor needs cleaning, so do the cubical, no toilet paper and the sinks are old worn and past fit for use. Basically this is a real let down for BK, ok yep it's in a busy corner of Basildon but standards are not being kept. If you eat here, bring you're own hand cleaner and ask around if you want to be served next or last. So management at this branch, get off your butts, clean this place up, organise your staff and front counter and maybe you'll go somewhere, untill that happens it stays as one of the worst...

Sadly This particular Burger King at Pips Hill falls well below the standard of which is expected.

I'm shocked that the area management haven't checked on staff and food.

Any person awaiting food to collect can see the meals being touched and made without plastic gloves on and just bare-hands...

This is NOT acceptable. When you see Uber Drivers and other home deliveries placing their bags on the counter where food is collected

Mind blowing stuff....food is often just warm when served in the restaurant, what on earth it's like if someone uses the app for home delivery is anyone's guess....

I've been at this location twice, the lack of organisation, discipline and structure amongst the staff is very obvious to see.

It may not be there fault. However, where is the management or whoever is in charge to take hold of a poorly run shop floor....

BURGER KING!! Sit up pay attention and if you cared about your franchise, you'll get your secret shopper in, order watch taste the food, and think, you know what...this isn't just a review which is venomous, it's an honest opinion based on visiting...

If I'd been in charge...this branch would have had a thorough shakedown...present staff re-trained or find other job where interst in what your doing...

Personally, I wouldn’t even give this place a 1 star. I have never had food poisoning in my life but received it from the new ceasar chicken burger about 2 months ago, I was violently sick for about a day. I phoned them and told them how bad it was they said they would check who worked the night before (not sure what that was suppose to mean) anyway Uber refunded me. I said I’d never use them again but last night I had 40% off so used them as my partner was ok thought it was the new burger maybe the sauce didn’t agreee with me I started questioning myself so I ordered what I usually have, a chicken royale. As soon as I have eaten it I feel the same feeling I had from before, hot cold sweats but I had severe pain this time round, ended up throwing up an hour after violently again. I haven’t even spoke to Uber or restaurant, I don’t care about the money I would just like you all to be aware of this specific restaurant. It obviously has a problem, I have never had a problem with Burger King anywhere else. I feel physically sick thinking about it and what caused my belly to feel the way it did both times. Place needs checking it’s vile I have also seen the filthy pictures on the reviews here, probably has something to do...
