Visited Nando’s for the first time in a while, 1 was shocked about the price just under £50 for 2 burgers fries a corn on the cob and two drinks, not the end of the world but abit steep
Sat next to the huge windows which were open and not able to be closed so it was windy.
Restaurant was not particularly busy food took about 20 minutes to appear on the hot counter which was in site, sat there for almost 10 minutes, to be stone cold when delivered, spoke to our server who was really good and said I’ll get fresh ones made, fantastic I thought.
Two minutes after that “Nat” who I assume was the manger slammed down some plates infront of us, we asked have these just been warmed up ? As the cheese is solid, still only like warm, no they are fresh she said, I pointed out the huge bite in my burger that wasn’t there when I sent it back. “I haven’t eaten your food” she barked back, I didn’t say that you did, I asked for a refund at this point she stormed off back to the till,
How did you order then ?
Through the app I responded, well I’ve done it, you’ll get paid in like 10 days I was told. Asked if I could have a receipt. No because it’s an app.
Our server did come over and ask what was wrong. I said everything so I have got a refund, she apologised for our experience
Safe to say I won’t...
Read moreMy friends and I specifically chose Nando’s as the outside seating was in the sun and it was a lovely day. We were told rather coldly that we weren’t allowed to sit on the end table that we wanted to sit on that had the most sun as it had been given away to another customer, fair enough. We were therefore very annoyed when 4 members of staff in uniform then sat down on the table to eat their McDonalds and smoke, and there was a table two tables down from us with little children on which we all thought was very inconsiderate. As our time on our table carried on our table eventually became shady and a little chilly, while the table we originally wanted (still with the employees on it) was in full sun, which is why we wanted the table. Call me crazy but I think paying customers should take priority, especially as it was so obvious they were employees.
In terms of the food it was okay, but the spicy rice basically tasted like Super Rice with a little of the chilli salt on top, no flavour and then a slight hint of spice at the end. We weren’t checked on during our meal, and the table next to us, who had finished before we’d even sat down, didn’t have their plates cleared even after we’d left, which seemed a shame as they seemed like they obviously wanted them taking away.
Overall rather...
Read moreWe were given our sharing starter for 3 people with only 2 lots of cutlery, with no plates when I asked for the 3rd lot and some plates the girl looked like she was going to cry at the thought of doing some work. I asked for some salt as as you can see it came it a plastic pot as they didn't have any actual salt shakers. Nothing to do with covid because they have the bottled condiments out being used.
Lunch arrived again no cutlery, and when I did ask the girl did however point out that we had cutlery which was the dirty lot from the starters... not sure why were would be expected to use dirty cutlery, maybe Its just me expecting to much wanting to eat with a clean knife & fork. It used to be that you got your own which was clearly much easier for the staff then walking it over to customers who had the audacity to want to eat with clean cutlery.
The whole experience isn't one I'd want to endure ever again at this Nando's.
Dirty restaurant, floors were filthy & expected to eat with dirty cutlery all for the cost of nearly £60 and...
