Royal café & restaurant — Restaurant in Basildon

I with my friend was looking today for nice coffee shop- restaurant atmosphere, and we found on our way Royal coffee, when we come in staff member didn't give a chance to take clothes off, she started to ask about food straightaway.. I say, can you give us some time? and she was not happy already she back to the till where the girls working and start talking about us .. When I ask do you have berry tea? She said no, just strawberry. And then she say strawberry and berries the same lol. She was not happy to serve us at all. Her English is terrible, and I say to her that.. And she say she's working 10 years and she know everything better than me and she telling my english it's not good . That lady who was serving us , she's from Lithuania.. I never gonna come back to this place and I'm not recommended at all..and also you can show to that person how supposed to look apple pay with ice cream and custard, not what ...

From the looks of things this is a brand new build (From what I’ve heard it’s been open for two weeks) superb colours, lots of space for customers and a very well lit environment.

Service is very smart and friendly, welcome smiles all round. Food is servers quick and hot.

I’ve visited twice already for strong coffee and full English breakfasts and both have been solid 10/10’s!

Price wise, I would say that it is good and fair priced, with my full English being £8.45

Witness is happy and friendly and staff behind the counter are same also.

They do have vegetarian breakfast options available but may need to ask about food allergies etc. There is also a kids meal section, small but it is available

From the looks of the front door there is a wee step so hopefully should be ok for wheelchair access

This place is a top notch. The service was perfect, all staff was really polite. The food i have ordered was a chicken shish kebab with chips and salad (with no pita breadl, and a white coffee. The food was delicious, fresh, coffee really tasty. The food was priced reasonably and most important the place is spotless clean (not a bit of dust, not even under the coffee machine on the counter 😉) highly recommended for everyone, families, single dining visitors or couples, and friends, definitely I will be...
