Greek Street — Restaurant in Basingstoke and Deane

Having never been to the sports and social club we were unsure if it was a 'members only' deal but turns out not, so we had a lovely lunch at the new (but slightly hidden) Greek street. Worth noting that it seems you can drive directly into the centre and park right by the restaurant as well, we were uncertain about this at first.

Really good food, nice location hidden away and overlooking the cricket pitch. Very friendly and informative staff, and most importantly delicious Greek food. You'd never know it is here (they have another shop in the Chineham Shopping Centre), but a friend took me here, and the food is wonderful. I had the lamb and sausage Souvlaki wrap. All freshly cooked, and very tasty. I'm told they get their meat from Greece. Friendly service, and a good selection of drinks, they also do home made cakes, but I didn't have the room to try these (maybe next time). Very nice idea to have it in the social club.
