Myself and my partner love indian food. We come here on a random date night while my daughter was at a friend's in the area. Firstly, what an absolute 5☆ experience! We see a review, about the restaurant being empty and someone got turned away and they was peed off because of the restaurant seeming empty. When we went (we prebooked) we got to the restaurant and only one other couple, was asked if we prebooked, thought maybe we wasn't the sort of customers they'd want. Anyway, we was sat down, by the time we was finishing our meal, there wasn't a spare seat in the restaurant and had people waiting for a seat. So please don't let that review put you off. They get busy out of nowhere! Why? Well, the food is absolutely sensational! It honestly is to date, the best Indian food we've had! So prebook to avoid disappointment! We had chicken and lamb tikka masla, the sauce was beautifully thick, the meat was cooked to perfection. We also had the keema rice and naan, both absolutely lovely! The Poppadoms were warm and crispy. Now the mango chuntey was the best weve tried. Also the chilli lime dip was amazing, spicy though, but lovely. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely return! The staff was lovely and helpful too. The only thing I'd advice, is definitely prebook. The food is well...
Read moreHad a very disappointing takeaway from here on our last order. We had friends over and usually the food is decent; not on this occasion. Where to start… Stale Poppadoms (chewy), the kids curries were watery and bland, so much so they didn’t eat them and they never leave curry. Mixed starter consisted of 2 samosas, nothing else, must have forgot the other things. A curry described as pulled chicken was large pieces of chicken with bones in. We spent £120+ no free wine or even a bottle of coke as advertised. A friends curry was advertised as mild and creamy, ended up being a tomato based sauce ? Not described properly. I’m certain the regular chef was off that day, that’s the only excuse for such a poor showing. Will be going elsewhere for future orders. Was so angry with the standard of food that if I called up to complain, I’d of simply lost...
Read moreBest Indian takeaway I've had in the longest time (I've had a series of terrible ones in the last year or so, not from here)! Ordered online, very quick and simple. Arrived well with in the time. Incredibly tasty, sauce was the perfect consistency, (I had the MURUG MAKHANI), they followed my extra instruction. Onion bhaji was tasty and not greasy, poppadoms were also great, nice and crispy. Garlic naan also good. There was an item missing, but they delivered it within 10 mins of me ringing, The person on the phone and both delivery people were very pleasant. They only lose a star (though really it only deserves half a star missing) because there was a bit of chicken bone in the main. Defo be ordering from here next...
