Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Basingstoke and Deane

OKAY! Here I go.. We have always ordered from Papa Johns as the pizzas are always good 👍also as we pre order, the food is always hot. If it was delivered a bit late, its never been more than 10 minutes which is acceptable as the quality is still good.

BUT OH MY GOODNESS tonight we pre ordered at around 9pm for delivery at 10.45pm. The app was notifying that it was on its way. Unfortunately the pizza didn't arrive until 11.40pm. We attempted to contact Papa Johns via telephone. Surprise surprise no answer as it was closed. Although the app informed us to enjoy our meal!!WHAT MEAL?We received a good will voucher for our order running late at 11.10pm so naturally we figured it would not be much longer. Oh how wrong we were. It was delivered at 11.40pm. Fair play to the delivery guy he was so apologetic,. But big disappointment with Papa Johns. Obviously the food was stone cold. Tomorrow morning I will definitely be demanding a full refund. Shame on you Papa Johns. UPDATE PAPA JOHNS! I have decided to renew my Review. A BIG WELL DONE to you all. Your delivery service has improved 💯,% As I am paralysed and obviously can't answer the door when my Carers have finished their shift. Papa John's has gone above and beyond with their delivery service. They have got to know me over time and the delivery guys are trustworthy as I have to give them details to enter my home. Food always hot I no longer order online as it saves confusion and I can give exact instructions. BANG ON....

Disgusting store waited over an hour they delivered my order to the wrong address when I called to speak to a manager the girl told me he was busy ... great customer service avoiding to speak to the customer after demanding to speak with him finally the girl handed me over to him who called me stupid accusing me of putting the wrong address down and telling me it's not his problem and we wont do anything after telling him the address they delivered to is not mine and its theft and the fact someone accepted my order he didn't even want to try resolve the situation by sending a driver to the address where my order was delivered and asking them why they accepted the order if they did not order it ! Its theft and disgusting after telling him I'm going to head office he told me to go away and hung up ! Do not order from this store !!!! You will get nothing but problems ! The manager should not be running this store abusive and disgusting behaviour! If head office do not resolve this I'm taking legal action! I also have recorded the phone call as evidence of the disgusting behaviour from this store and the company. And would recommend anyone who has any problems to do the same. After trying the main alternatives of Dominoes and Pizza Hut, we eventually settled on Papa Johns as the best pizza in town. The dough they use is light and fluffy, particularly with the Deep Pan and Stuffed Crust options, and their toppings are always generous. While they might not have as many options as other places, they're definitely the most enjoyable.
