The King Of Wessex — Restaurant in Basingstoke and Deane

Earlier and and my 2 mates went there but we was stopped at the gate and the bouncer said oh we close at 10 which was in 5 minutes at the time and pretended to listen to instructions on his radio and walked away and then came back saying sorry we close soon you can’t come in so we checked online and it said it closes at 11 and went back and waved us away from a distance so we went to another pub and on the way back at 11:13 there was still people outside having a drink! I’m very disappointed with the service and this isn’t how a pub should be treating...

Only popped in for one drink, sat in the garden. Ordered from the table, paid at the table. This pub has made a massive improvement since being taken over by new owners/management. Both members of staff who were working (one Irish lad and another young lad on Wednesday) were both polite...

Can't remember. .. but played pool ... long night ... my mates fault..... popped in once again .. this is post covid ( 1st review was pre covid) .... the pool table has been replaced with a live scar band .... that's all I remember.... oh and I give...
