Cafe De Bella — Restaurant in Bassetlaw

I wasn't happy sitting at a dirty table where i put my sleeve into some sort of sauce. Had to ask the girls twice to get it cleaned.

The food on this occasion was great. The panini I ordered was full with plenty of chips and a very fresh salad. My very fussy 6yo had nuggets and chips from kids section. What arrived could easily feed an adult but amazingly he ate it all. So he would give 10/10 on those! Mrs had jacket potato with tuna filling, she said it was average though again that salad that came was great. It was for us reasonably priced before we saw the portions so it is value for money.

Definitely will be going back to explore more...

First and last visit to this place not exactly sure how they managed to get such good reviews not one to moan but...

Café bella couldn't carryout a simple task like a ham and cheese omelette . Asked him to hold the the hash browns and replaced it with ham. The ham was just laid on the side of this flat omelette.not blended in .

Then two huge pots of tomatoes arrived even though i asked for beans . With lightly tanned toast with the butter soaked in.terrible and im no connoisseur.

Arrived home after this debacle and was violently ill .

Good cafe with affordable prices (for some items anyway) but as you can see from the photo I ordered the lasagna and the portion of lasagna was laughably small! The rest of my groups' food had decent portions so must be a item specific issue here, hence still a 3 star rating. One of my group also asked for no chips and still got chips, and the waiter was also talking really quiet. Based on the lasagna alone this was probably a 2/5 though as it was one of the more expensive items at...
