Deli & Dine — Restaurant in Bassetlaw

Both my wife and I are disabled, I use a powerchair when outdoors, we had read about this place on line so we thought we would give it ago when we were next in town, we first went to the front entrance only to find it was impossible to ge my powerchair through the door, then a member of staff came out and told us of the entrance off carolgate, two big double doors, she came through and opened one door which game me plenty of room to get through. Once inside the space between tables was wide enough for me to get to a table. Problem solved, she bought us the menu gave us a good few minutes before taking our order Coffee for me the wife dad tea and we both had bacon sandwiches, we had a choice of brown or white bread and smoked or unsmoked bacon (how many places give you that choice) a short time later our food arrived, there must have been 3 or 4 rashers of bacon in each sandwich served o good quality bread (doorsteps) the coffee was excellent. It wasn't over priced either. On the way out we did mention about something to hold the door open, they said the would look into it, we have been in about 4 times now but unfortunately nothing done about the door. The food here is amazing love it the staff go out of there way to help provide things that you need.. there is only one thing you need to be careful of and that is the car park where deli and dine is.. if your going there and your disabled mark sure you don't just put your blue badge in your window you need to get a ticket to register your number plate or they will hit you with a 60 pound find.. that is what happened to my dad he is devastated this happened.. other than that perfect...

This place is a hidden gem of Retford. It's menu has a lot to offer, including a vegan selection which to me is very rare in these places. I of course had the English breakfast. Came out on a oval dish, not too heavy not too light but just right. Ordered a cappuccino as well and to my surprise they made a little picture on it. I was well impressed. The place had it own little shop as well that you can purchase, it also that rustic sense to it. Highly recommended you...
