The most incredible cake and food! Carmel and everyone who works in Mollie Rockers are just so incredibly lovely and talented. We love the pigs in blanket sausage rolls at Christmas and also the lovely events for children. We especially enjoy the Easter picnics and the Christmas Eve event - the children love decorating their biscuits and we've made many cakes to take home in the past. I have tried so many cake shops across the country, however, none match the cakes made here. They're so unique, so tasty and incredible portion sizes for what you pay. Highly recommended - hugely disappointed . Took 45 minutes for a bacon sandwich to be served. Kitchen was ‘so busy’ apparently ? 10 other guests in the restaurant - should have mentioned the ‘busy’ status when order was taken. Then delivery 5 minutes for my dish after the other two I was with were served. Then to see that the bacon sandwich had one meagre slice of bacon - poor value - Greggs would have been at least 3 rashers for half the price in 2-3 minutes. First and last time ever. I've just returned to Retford (home) after living in Sheffield for a couple of years and although I love this place, it lacked the cool hipster places I would visit for brunch with friends in the city centre and kelham island at a weekend. Something that I really missed.

So I was SOOO happy when Mollie Rocker opened. Not only does it look the part, but the food and service gives those in Sheffield a run for it's money. Also, the bonus is that it is about a third of the price too.

It really is an absolute gem and somewhere I shall see myself a lot. Cannot recommend these...
