10 Green Bottles — Restaurant in Bassetlaw

Very disappointed with our visit today which could be described as a shambles and chaos in the kitchen. Our food was terrible paninis were actually baguettes andburnt on the inside, black at the ends but soft and cold on the outside, filling in 2 of them was poor, the 3rd one had cheap grisly sausage in it, they were supposed to come with crisps and salad but just came with crisps, The fish finger sandwich with peas wasn't much better, one bite to get a mouthfuls of hot grease/liquid and not cooked fingers, the fish was clear in places with contrasting black and grey bits and the peas were luke warm.the tea was served in a broken teapot so had to hold lid down to pour it, the latte had no coffee taste to it, probably down to the fact the girl made it large instead of regular so owner made her tip it into smaller cup so the coffee part was still in big cup we just got flavoured milk. It didn't help that the table next to us started to be used as a dumping ground for trays full of dirty pots and wasted food, it wasn't just us with food issues there were taking back cream scones that tasted off. We put in a complaint as we left and the owner was a bit delusional and had no explanation, no refunds offered either. Just a tip if the owner reads this,, get table numbers so waitress not walking round searching for who ordered what she had, buy a panini press it will work wonders and buy proper panini's, better produce, keep the place clean and get more staff the 2 working did their best but when being glared at and criticised and working in chaos im surprised they didn't walk out on you. Definitely won't recommend this place and won't be back, if I could leave 0...

Went in today for lunch it was horrible the pannini were baguettes toasted the filling was burnt the bread wasn't toasted correctly. the teapot lid didn't shut i had to hold it down with a tissue so not to burn my hand. The crisps were dry no salad at all ?? .the sausage and cheese panini again was a baguette the sausage was full of gristle and dont get me started on the disgusting fish fingers sandwich inedible. I did go to the counter to express my disappointment but tbh they couldn't care less .the table at the side of us was used as a dumping ground full of coffee cups etc hence we won't be going back again and definitely won't be recommending you to anyone I hope the owner reads this and maybe apologise for today but again I won't...

The place looks fab, has a lovely feel. The staff are friendly, kitted out nicely inside, only thing that let it down on our visit was the food.

We both had a full English, sausage was cheap rubbish (a footlong cut in half I think), eggs were poor, under and overcooked in placed, hashbrowns were mushy, beans were watery, bacon was really good and couldn't fault the toast. Definitely wouldn't order that again.

You've got bacon's on the doorstep, go and order your meat from them and let your hasbrowns cook a few more minutes.

I'm sure plenty of people have been and had a nice breakfast, just reporting...
