This was a fantastic pub to go drinking at, with a vintage style as the name would indicate! The walls give off those vibes, the counter is well-presented and staff were friendly. I had a pint of Strongbow Dark Fruit, sitting comfortably in the outdoor area which has a bonus of shelter!

I still rate this pub as one of the, if not the best pub in Retford. Me & my mates all used it in the late sixties & beyond. Now even better at £2.00 a pint..!!!!!. I appeal to the owners, Please do not alter the pub. Other good pubs in Retford had been altered & are now long gone. Old sun pub...

Fantastic pub!! So friendly! Made to feel at home & could take the dog down without a problem! Alex was so accommodating and had all COVID measures in place, unlike other pubs in Retford! Felt very safe & welcome! Definitely our new local! Fantastic bar staff who can’t do...
