This place is disgusting. Avoid this cafe. Poor hygiene, poor product quality and staff that have poor food hygiene and handling practices.

Inaccurate pricing, and unhelpful staff on duty.

This branch of Caffe Ritazza clearly exploits it's captive audience of travellers awaiting check in desks to open, and people awaiting travellers arriving.

The main counter is dirty, unclean and poorly maintained. The coffee machine is wiped with a dirty green cloth between each drink made leaving a milky residue drying on the surface.

I ordered a tea. Requested a large cup to sit in, checking that I could actually get a real cup instead of a takeaway cup. For £2.70 it's very expensive. I paid cash.

The lady behind the counter started making my tea in a takeaway cup. I queried this with her, reminding her that she said it would be made in a proper crockery cup. She declined stating that she was out of large take away cups. I explained further, and she apologized for her mistake and refused to provide a proper cup. As it's already been poured. (Very rude and aggressively). She set the cup on the counter and pointed me to a side cupboard for condiments.

She stopped me and apologised for only giving me a medium tea, in a take away cup. Asking for 10p she overcharged me by, she told me there was no manger on duty and she couldn't do anything about it.

I asked for a customer comment card and was refused.

The condiments counter consists of coffee stained stirrers, napkins, and poorly stocked, dirty sugar sachets. The display has not been cleaned with any effort, and shows signs of damage on the surface.

Tables are dirty. Unwiped, stained with previous cafe users drinks and the floor is covered in crumbs, and dirt from the day. Seats are comfy, yet sparse.

This location has no fresh pastries, muffins, or biscuits. No scones or fruit on display for...

Please hire someone with some respect to others. I don't know the name of the lady who served me but she was kind of rude to me and my friends. It was like someone forcing her to do the job. Already I was having a bad day and her behaviour was just making it worse. When I asked her about at what time does the shop opens and she replied: she don't know when it is going to open. Also she added that when the light comes on the shop opens. This was not only towards us but almost every customers she encountered had the same experience. At an international airport this kind of behaviour should not be promoted. Make sure to correct this. The time of the incident: around 4am on 8th October 2024. Maybe because of these kind of behaviours this airport recieved number 1 spot for the WORST airport in the Europe according...

Got a bacon roll and coffee Thursday morning this week. Staff claimed my card hadn't gone through but it had authorised. Then made to do it again as conputer and card machine link was "apparently dodgy". Went through again. At the time my bank account says went through twice and i went to the till to show the staff member that served me. The staff member claimed it only went through once and i should keep "an eye on it". What the hell? 17.90 for one coffee and bacon roll?! Shocking disinterest from staff and given no number or email address to complain to or get a refund. Will be reattending Sunday to the airport but what useful person...

Worst experience ever I had in an airport. Asked for a coffee and the person who was supposed to serve was behaving in a very rude manner. She told that the shop is closed and she said she has no clue when will the shop will be opened, its the lights which is gonna decide the time of opening the shop, she said. Seriously? The lights are deciding the open and close time of a shop? I don’t know if she was being a racist or behaving the same to other customers as well but either way it’s not the right thing.

I am writing this review in the name of my good friend, Oliver James O’Ryder. He has been to the Belfast International airport and requested that his pot noodles would be filled with boiling water which would aid him in warming up his food and making that brick edible. I must say myself, this level of customer service is absolutely delicate and I wish that all organisations and retail/restaurant companies were showing such respect and solidarity. I give this 5 big booms. Ta.
