A Disappointing and Confrontational Experience

We've always enjoyed visiting Frydays, but after today's experience, we will not be returning! A staff member—possibly a cook or the owner—came out from the back and aggressively confronted my partner over something as trivial as drawing a sun on the steamed-up window, which we had already planned to wipe clean. The approach was unnecessarily hostile, as if the goal was to publicly shame rather than address a simple issue politely.

It was deeply unsettling, and quite frankly, we were left wondering why someone from the kitchen felt entitled to berate a customer in such a manner. Regardless of background or situation, no guest deserves to be treated this way. The entire incident soured what was previously a great place for us, and it's truly disappointing to see such behavior overshadow what should have been another pleasant visit.

Frydays have been providing our catering solutions for us at Staff Nursing for several years now. I meant to write a review before today but it always slipped my mind. Called in for , what else,yip a fry. Asked for bacon well done, sausage cut in two and fried, everything as was asked, beautiful fry. Very busy, but a good thing, and didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive. Friendly staff. And yip back quite a lot of times, as it is really tasty, no frills, and they prepare the order whatever way you like, as well done bacon, mushrooms etc.., soda fried both sides.
