Unfortunately having to change my initial glowing review due to my experience this evening. Firstly was called asking for a £25 deposit to be paid for a table of 2 kids and 3 adults at 4.45pm. Also had to confirm the reservation a day before via email and remind them I had paid this when given the bill as it wasn’t deducted. Seemed excessive considering I had 2 kids. The music was loud dance music which meant we struggled to hear each over even though sitting next to each other. Again, this is at 5pm not late. I asked if this could be turned down, just a little so we could hear each other and was told no. The manager says it’s a set level and won’t be turned down. Then 2 minutes later I was told it had been turned down. If it could be turned down, why the first response? Not great customer service. The bruschetta was like a rock and the lasagne was inedible. Super salty! It was taken off the bill but not a great experience. Food service was much slower, even though not as many tables. Again the dessert was amazing but not good enough to make me go...

The setting looked lovely, green foliage, lemons, lights it was set up nicely but then The music, it was loud, though this a trend in many places. I want to sit down and have a meal and chat not feel like I’m in a nightclub. The food was a massive let down not appetising and then it repeated on me the rest of the night, I have no clue who cooked the meatballs but they where dry and that was with the sauce and it felt like it’d been sitting there for a while although there wasn’t a lot of it. I also had pizza it was meh and Luke warm. I can’t comment on the drinks because I only had water and ya can’t get that wrong although My partner had wine she didn’t rate it and she never has an issue with wine when out. The service was ok be it felt rushed as soon as we sat down to shout about what we wanted for dinner we had to shout because talking wasn’t an option, The staff asked us twice within a few seconds ‘Are you ready to order ?’ No I’m not I’ve just sat down thank you. Anyway I wouldn’t recommend it. Will...

This place was fabulous in every area! Five of my family went in for a double celebration and we weren't disappointed. Upon arrival, (we were early),we were greeted by a member of staff who explained to us that our table would be available soon, which immediately put us at ease. When we were brought to our table, even though they were very busy, there was always a member of staff checking with us. The ambience of the place was perfect. Full marks to the people who tastefully decorated. The food of which we got plenty was cooked to perfection and we didn't seem to have to wait very long.We were talking about the place whilst having our meals and we all agreed that there was nowhere - staff, decor, food, where we would come down from a ten out of ten. It was my son's birthday and the even gave him a sparkler and sang happy birthday at the end of the evening ( to his utter embarrassment) which we laughed about it rising to an eleven. Well done all involved!! We will...

If you’re looking for an exceptional dining experience in Belfast, Nico’s Pizzeria is a must-visit! As someone who works in hospitality, I can tell when service is truly great, and the team here genuinely impressed me. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, creating a welcoming vibe that made me feel right at home. The lovely owners add a personal touch that really sets this place apart. Now, onto the food! The Penne Arrabbiata was outstanding—perfectly cooked with just the right kick of spice. Paired with their unique pear drop cocktail, it was a match made in heaven. I also have to mention the parmesan fries; they were addictive and a must-try! What’s even better is that they cater to vegan diners as well, so everyone can enjoy the delicious offerings. Overall, this was one of the best meals I’ve had in Belfast, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality food, great drinks, and fantastic service!
