A Culinary Gem in Belfast: Nu Delhi is One of the Best Indian Spots I've Ever Visited! 🇮🇳✨ Nestled right in the heart of Belfast, Nu Delhi Lounge is a modern marvel that blends Punjabi authenticity with sleek, cosmopolitan vibes. From the moment you step in, it's clear this restaurant haven is all about perfection: food, cocktails, and even live music in a stylish setting that feels like London has landed in Northern Ireland.😍 It all starts with the impeccable service – the staff are always right there when you need them, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Orders zip straight to the kitchen via their high-tech mics on the waiters, making everything feel efficient and seamless. We kicked things off with those crispy, flavorful poppadoms, served with a smile and just the right crunch. Then came the starters with an array of chutneys that exploded with tangy, spicy goodness, paired with the fluffy Peshawari naan bread – sweet, nutty, and utterly addictive! 😋 But the real showstopper? The mains. Their Korma was an absolute dream – creamy, aromatic, and perfectly balanced, with tender meat that melted in your mouth. Every bite transported us straight to the streets of Delhi, but in the most refined way. The portions are generous, the flavors authentic yet innovative, and it's got options for everyone, including a dedicated vegan menu and plenty of gluten-free choices that don't skimp on taste. The only downside? Belfast isn't exactly around the corner from us, so we'll have to plot our next visit carefully. But oh, it's worth every mile! If you're in town, skip the ordinary and head to Nu Delhi for an unforgettable Indian feast. Highly recommended – we can't wait to go back! ⭐🙌

Spotted the Nu Delhi on a previous trip to Belfast and decided to go the next time we were in the city. I eat quite a lot of Indian food and was not disappointed, great service from the moment we walked in, there was plenty of staff that were all very attentive. The food is a cut above what I've had in any other Indian restaurant or takeaway. We ordered from the Christmas set dinner menu but we were offered the full menu which in other restaurants isn't always an option during the busy season and this place had 300bookings the night we were in. The masala squid was beautifully spiced, soft well cooked squid in a crisp batter. The mixed platter (meat) had a great variety of flavours between each element the highlight me probably being the succulent piece of tandoori chicken. The mains we had were Chicken chilli garlic with Jeera rice and Chicken Khurchan with pilau rice, the Khurchan was hotter than the chilli garlic, both dishes were worth a 5 star review. The chilli garlic chicken had a butteryness too it and a well balanced level of garlic and spice, along side the Khurchan chicken with its heat and rich gravy we were both well impressed. We had fun sampling the cocktail menu with the spiced nu Delhi with its creamy cinnamon flavour definitely putting us in the festive mood. Ved one of the waiters on the night and the rest of your team should be proud of the establishment you have. I hope to return soon with some friends and family. Back for a 3rd time and still excellent, service was great, food was outstanding can't wait to come back.

Nu Delhi: A Culinary Delight Enhanced by Tanya's Service

Nu Delhi stole the show, but it was Tanya's service that truly stole our hearts. The food was an absolute revelation – a symphony of flavors that danced on our tongues. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. But beyond the culinary magic, it was Tanya's warmth and expertise that elevated the experience to a whole new level.

From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a genuine smile and infectious enthusiasm. Her knowledge of the menu was astounding, patiently guiding us through the exotic spices and enticing recommendations. Tanya wasn't just a server; she was a culinary sherpa, leading us on a delicious adventure.

Her suggestions were spot-on, each bite a testament to her understanding of our tastes. She wasn't afraid to recommend something unfamiliar, and her confident descriptions piqued our curiosity. Thanks to her, we discovered hidden gems on the menu, dishes that have become instant favorites.

But Tanya's service went beyond mere recommendations. She was attentive without being intrusive, always there to answer questions and refill our glasses with a flourish. Her friendly banter and genuine interest in our dining experience made us feel like valued guests, not just customers.

It's rare to find service that complements the food so perfectly. Nu Delhi's culinary prowess is undeniable, but it was Tanya's warmth, knowledge, and genuine passion for hospitality that truly made our evening unforgettable. We left not just with full stomachs and happy palates, but with a feeling of connection and a longing to return.

Nu Delhi, you've earned a loyal fan in us. And Tanya, you're the star of the show! We can't wait to revisit your culinary wonderland – and experience your infectious service...

A friend and I decided to try Nu Delhi after having walked past for years. Upon arrival, there is a Tuk Tuk and a couple of areas for photos for the wannabe-influencers (and those who just love a good photo!). I arrived late for our booking, but they were incredibly accommodating of my lateness and had my friend sat down already with food and drinks order placed, as well as a starter to share while she waited for me. The staff were kind, polite and helpful and assisted us in finding each other once I arrived.

The portion sizes (I ordered Vegetable Biryani and Peshwari Naan) were fantastic, and I couldn't fault the food. As a vegetarian, I appreciated the wide range of options available. Staff checked in on us to ensure we were satisfied with the food, and when I was unable to finish mine, they were more than happy to provide me with a takeaway box and bag to carry it home in.

Our server, Sazal, was wonderful and I couldn't have asked for better service. We were given warm cloths to wipe our hands after our meal, and mints along with the bill.

Whilst the food was gorgeous, the highlight of the evening was the service. It is increasingly uncommon to find such helpful and friendly service, with little luxuries like warm cloths and mints nowadays, I loved it.

My only negative point was that the restaurant is very loud. There was one particular table that arrived around halfway through that were extremely noisy, and it became quite distracting and difficult to speak with each other. This however is not the fault of the restaurant, and does not detract from the overall 5 star rating this place deserves.

We...
